Ne volim filmove sa tužnim krajem, al ovaj sam odgledao sa posebnom pažnjom. Snimljen na jedan polu dokumentarni način ima i priču i dušu. Cazuza je brazilski pjevač koji je u svoje vrijeme bio izuzetno popularan. Na žalost umro je od side 1990. god, a iza sebe je ostavio Brazil liberalniji nego što je bio. Kad je saznao da ima AIDS nije krio bolest što izazvalo zaprepašćenje širom Brazila i motivisalo mnoge ljude da se suprostave neznanju u borbi protiv te pošasti.
Nakon što sam odgledao ovaj film skinuo sam muziku iz filma i posebno mi se dopala pjesma O Tempo Nao Para. Slušajuci je nazvao sam jednog prijatelja, inače brazilca koji živi u Parizu i pitao ga da li zna ko ovo pjeva. Rekao mi je da obožava tu pjesmu i da je pjeva jedan brazilski pjevač koji je umro od side! Naravno dao sam mu link da pogleda ovaj film.

Posle mi je još i rekao da se Cazusove poeme uče u školama i da su obavezna literatura, da je cjeli Brazil počeo da razmišlja dugačije nakon njegove smrti. Nakon Cazuzove smrti pjevač Renato Russo je napravio koncert na kojemu je pjevao Cazuzove pjesme. Na koncertu je bilo suza i plača, al svi su pjevali! Dvije godine kasnije Renato Russo je takođe umro od side.

Brazil danas ima jednu od najjačih kampanja edukacije u prevenciji AIDS-a i zahvaljući tome ta država nema veći broj HIV pozitivnih. Sam Cazuza je prilično razuzdano živio, biseksualac, umjetnik , poeta, provokator… to su sve epiteti koje je dobio za života. Za sebe je jednom rekao : -Rodjen sam bez osjećaja srama!

Cazuzo i danas živi u sjećanjima mnogih brazilaca kao umjetnik koji je ostavio traga u mnogim životima običnih ranjivih ljudi! Inače malo se na ovim prostorima zna o mentalitetu brazilaca, uopšte o mentalitetu ljudi sa južnoameričkog kontinenta. Izuzetno temperamentni, strastveni u ljubavi i mržnji i beskompromisno tvrdoglavi podsjećaju na mediteran. Ovaj brazilac kojeg pominjem u tekstu živi u Parisu, oženjen je i ima dijete. Na jedan internetski način održavamo kontakte i zarekao se da će doći u Crnu Goru da me vidi. Tvrdi da me voli i često dok se gledamo preko kamera to i vidim u njegovim očima. Uplašim se toga. Šta da kažem ako dođe? “Ovo mi je rođak ” sigurno ne može da prođe jer je crnac!

Cazuza – O Tempo Nao Pára (Cazuza – Time Doesn’t Stop) is a 2004 Brazilian movie about the life of singer Cazuza. The film is directed by Walter Carvalho and Sandra Werneck. It stars Daniel de Oliveira as Cazuza. The film is based on the book by Cazuza’s mother, Lucia Araujo. Cazuza – O Tempo Nao Pára won a best actor award from the Sao Paulo Association of Art Critics Awards. Agenor Miranda Araújo Neto, better known as Cazuza (4 April 1958 – 7 July 1990) was a Brazilian composer, singer and poet, born in Rio de Janeiro.

Along with Raul Seixas, Renato Russo and Os Mutantes, Cazuza is considered one of the best exponents of Brazilian rock music. In 1989, he admitted publicly for the first time that he had AIDS and released his last album: Burguesia. Cazuza was openly bisexual but was not active in the gay movement. However his openness about being a person with AIDS helped to change public perceptions and attitudes about HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment.

Cazuza died in Rio de Janeiro on July 7, 1990 at the age of 31 from an AIDS related illness. He was buried at the Cemitério Sao Joao Batista Botafogo, in Rio de Janeiro. Cazuza’s mother set up the Viva Cazuza Society (Sociedade Viva Cazuza), a charity which sponsors AIDS prevention and provides a home for HIV-positive children.
The movie was one of the most successful of the year in Brazil.

Focusing on Cazuza’s personal life, the film chronicles his early career, his subsequent success, his drug use and his promiscuous lifestyle. It starts out in the early 1980s in Rio de Janeiro, showing his usual day-to-day life until he joins the band which would become Barao Vermelho. It then shows the band’s rise to fame and its frequent “mutinies” which led him to pursue a solo career. Later, it depicts his struggle against the AIDS virus and his final days.

This is not a film with a feel good factor, and it will leave you with a lot of unanswered questions, but the sensitive way it deals with an explosive issue and the powerful performances by the lead actors make it worth a watch.

When 21 year-old Leo, the oldest of four brothers, announces to his rural French family that he's HIV+ family bonds are tested. The family decides that 11 year Marcel, the youngest, is too young to understand and the family agrees to keep the unsettling news from him. Marcel overhears enough to understand that something amiss with Leo and when the two travel to Paris together, Marcel confronts Leo with what he suspects.

Maybe as a heterosexual female, the allure of the gay male dance/drug/sex circuit is something I simply cannot fathom. But having grown up, and knowing, my fair share of homosexuals, I doubt Circuit would be that much more appealing to gay men than a brief glimpse of eye candy.

Coupling disgracefully written dialogue with flailing bodily movements that substitute for acting, Circuit is the awkwardly paced soap opera-ish story of John (Jonathan Wade Drahos), the new kid in Hollywood, learning about having fun as a gay man. He was a cop in his home state of Illinois until his boss mentions that nobody wants to work with him due to his lifestyle, has he thought about living elsewhere? Having grown up there, you’d think he’d be smart enough to move to a more comfortable environment anyway without a condescending conversation to provoke him.

So John is introduced to the seductively free environment of hookups and instant gratification through his cousin Tad (Daniel Kukan), a filmmaker who is documenting "the scene." Along the way he befriends the gruff hustler Hector (Andre Khabazzi) who is obsessed with his facial implants as he inches towards 30, and won’t have sex without pay. Watching Hector being groped at a dance club one evening, John suddenly decides to experience the rush of narcotics everyone is raving about.

Granted, it’s necessary for plot purposes that John succumb to peer pressure and work through his cleansing downward spiral, but his decisions are so sudden after being “the well-adjusted guy” that it makes the rest of his journey impossible to swallow. One minute he tries a drug, and the next those who have known him for a while are talking about what a waste he’s becoming.

Then there are the haphazard side plots that are thrown in, probably an attempt to display different commentary on the party lifestyle. The main problem of these lengthy, extraneous scenes is that there is no established motivation on the part of any of the characters involved to keep you interested as to where they might go next. The prime example is the absolute lack of a logical reason for Tad to break his seven-year, live-in relationship with the kind, thoughtful Gill (Brian Lane Green) for an affair with a DJ that never speaks. He’s a sniveling brat as he begs to allow him and his new boyfriend to stay in the same house, claiming artistic need.

The divergent paths don’t even bother to comment on John’s slowly deteriorating behavior, or their possible negative consequences, until the very end. By the time Circuit explores the necessity of respecting oneself, you’re too bored to appreciate its moral obligations.

The singular ray of interesting light that shines through is a brief cameo by Jim J. Bullock, dressed in drag, expressing quiet gratitude for John’s previous show of sympathy. If only half the other scenes were written with this simplicity.

While it’s unfortunate that filmmakers are shy to photograph men being intimate, Circuit loses its daring appeal through using characters and situations that just aren’t entertaining enough to sit through. And though it does acknowledge some individual intelligence in the long run, the wait through each person ignoring common sense is excruciating.

Ponekad nam ljepota može doći glave. Ovaj kratki filmić nas na to savršeno upozorava. Podsjetilo me je na gomilu momaka koji uleću u sexualne avanture bez imalo straha i obazrivosti. Jedan mi je tako ispričao priču kako je upoznao jednog momka sa kojim je zvršio u krevet i nisu se vadili dva dana iz njega! Ja ga pitam jesi li koristio kondom, a on: Nije bilo potrebe, On je aktivni sportaš, vidi mu se da je zdrav! Sa nevjericom sam ga posmatrao i na kraju mu rekao da ništa luđe od toga nisam čuo!

Kada sam to zavrsio , skuvak kafu i potražim neki kratki film da pogledam! Nekako kliknuh bas ovaj! Iako ne volim te AIDS filmove, mišljenja sam da je odje kod nas na balkanu jos uvijek potrebno promovisati safe sex, intezivnije nego je to u drugim zemljama. Nedje sam pročitao statistiku da je u Srbiji porast broja obolelih od ove bolesti kod GAY populacije. A taman sam pomislio da su se naučili da kurton glavu čuva! Pa stavi taj kurton majku mu jebem, nemoj da se igraš životom!

Na žalost, kao i mnogo puta do sada sa neta sam skinuo toliko smeća pa se toliko iznerviram da naprosto ugasim računar, sa namjerom da ga ne upalim bar nekoliko dana. Sudeći po dobrim trajlerima i fotografijama često pomislim kako se radi o dobrom filmu, ali ispadne da je to jedino dobro od njega.
Od nekoliko filmova sa gay tematikom koje sam skinuo zaključio sam da ni jedan ne zaslužuje da se nađe na ovom blogu, čak ni pod rubrikom "loš Film"

Zato vam predstavljam još jedan dokumentarac koji i nije nešto posebno dobro napravljen, ali ima zanimljivu tematiku, Sex life in L.a.
Kroz priču 9 momaka, koji rade u sex industriji L.A. ovaj dokumentarac nam pokušava približiti život koji se odvija oko porno industrije, eskorta, i svega onoga što se odvija iz scene.
Porno glumci, fotografi, eskort momci, modeli itd, koji sanjaju o nekakvom uspjehu, slavi i bogastvu nam pričaju o svom životu , poslu , razmišljanjima...
Jochen Hick se nije libio da nam kao dijelove priča ovih momaka prikaže i najeksplicitnije scene, tako da je ovaj film sa pravom dobio oznaku koju dobija bilo koji pornić.

Paris 1984. Čudan način da se neko upozna, zar ne? Nakon toga Adrijen i Manu šetaju Parizom i bolje se upoznavaju. Adrien poziva manu da mu se pridruži i za vikend odu kod njegovih prijatelja na moru maldog bračnog para Sarah i njen suprug, Alžirac Mehdi. Sve izgleda idilično, Sarah i Mehdi imaju bebu, žive u prelijepoj kuću na moru, imaju brod, jedre , kupaju se...

Claudio je 35-godišnji bankarski menadžer koji živi sa partnerom.HIV pozitivan je već 10 godina i stalno je pod nadzrom ljekara koji ga kljukaju raznim ljekovima.
Jednom prilikom sretne prelijepog Andrea sa kojim započne flert. Andreo se toliko zaljubi u Claudia, da u trenutcima strasti ne razmišlja o opasnostima koju nosi veza sa HIV pozivnim čovjekom.
Ono što me zaprepastilo je da je Claudio dozvolio sebi ima sex sa Andreom bez kondoma iako je znao da ga time odvodi u smrt.
U ime ljubavi smo spremni učiniti sve. promijeniti posao, preseliti se u drugi grad, posvađati sa porodicom, drugovima, dovesti sebe u sukob sa okolinom i sve je to opravdano do granice kada dovodimo u pitanju svoj i tuđi život.

Synopsis: Claudio lives a very regimented life, from his job, to his boyfriend to the HIV medication he must take. He longs to break free and when Andrea enters his life, he offers a life without complications, but with many risks.

Quick review: I have to think that when this movie came out in Italy it caused some controversy. After I watched it I was unsure what to do with it. It was compelling and a story unlike any other I've seen. But one with a dangerous message. Andrea is willing to risk everything, including his life, to be with the man he loves. That is Claudio, who has HIV and is tired of always having to be careful. So, Andrea convinces him to throw caution to the wind and engage in unsafe sex. The experience is liberating for Claudio. He enjoys the sense of freedom and is conflicted with the guilt he feels for putting Andrea at risk, his relationship with his boyfriend Dario, and his decision to move to Milan. His doubts are in major contrast to Andrea, who knows exactly what he wants. He wants to be with Claudio, but he knows he could never live such a regimented lifestyle and promises he'll never take HIV medication. Those choices can only lead to one conclusion. It's controversial, but if you can accept the premise -- a mighty big if -- it's a hell of a love story.

One night, Claudio meets a sexy young waiter named Andrea, and the two hook up. Claudio cautions Andrea that they need a condom, but Andrea lives for the moment, and the moment is all about love. First of all, the theatrical packaging for this movie totally misrepresents it as a romantic gay comedy. A third of the way into the film it turns into an AIDS tragedy. Nothing wrong with that, but it's not what I was expecting when I rented it.
The previous posters seem to think this movie is a comedy. I must have seen a different movie from them. I agree it's a good film, but I didn't find anything comic about it. I was crying throughout the last half hour or so.
Well, it's an interesting film and I think it's worth seeing. I just wonder why all gay movies have to be about AIDS.
That said, I think it's a good portrayal of a presumably straight man falling for a gay man and embracing gay sex. The actor playing Lucas does an excellent job as the confused straight boy who finds himself falling in love with Martin no matter how hard he tries to fight it.
I just wish someone would write a gay movie where nobody has AIDS.

This is a combination coming out and first love story. The swimmer and diver Lucard is interested in attractive Martin. The film follows the characters' coming out with all its difficulties, the bitter-sweet pleasures of fi

Ovo je zaista dobar film ! Zgodni kuvar Tom zavede i dovodi u kuću promiskuitetnog Dana. Zarobljava ga, veže za stolicu i kaže mu da je od njega prije 5 godina dobio virus HIV-a. Dan se ne sijeća da je bio sa njim. Malo po malo prisjeća se da su bili pijani jedne noći i da mu je rekao
da je siguran i bezbjedan za sex.

The 24th Day is a 2004 film starring Scott Speedman and James Marsden. The film is based on a play of the same name, written by Tony Piccirillo; he also directed the film.
Tom (Speedman) and Dan (Marsden) meet in a bar and then proceed to Tom's apartment together. While there, Dan realizes that he had been in that same apartment before. Five years earlier, Dan and Tom had had a one night stand there. According to Tom, that encounter with Dan was his first and only homosexual experience. Some years later, Tom's wife is found to be HIV positive. Despondent after receiving this diagnosis from her doctor, Tom's wife drives through a red traffic light and is killed in an ensuing collision. Subsequent to these events, medical tests reveal that Tom himself is also HIV positive. Tom blames himself for passing the HIV virus on to his wife and, in turn, he blames Dan for passing the virus on to him. Reasoning that Dan ultimately is to blame for his wife's death, Tom devises a plan to exact revenge. He holds Dan hostage and draws blood from him in order to conduct a test to determine Dan's HIV status. If Dan's test results are positive for the HIV virus, Tom vows to kill Dan. If the results are negative, Tom agrees to release Dan unharmed. In the end, Tom returns to the apartment and lets Dan go. As Dan is leaving Tom asks him when was the last time he was tested? A few moments later he reveals that Dan's test was in fact positive. He decided to let Dan go because he realized that his positive status was the result of his choices and he couldn't blame it on anyone else. The scene fades out with Dan standing there in shock and Tom resigned to what lies ahead.

Španci su zaista nevjerovatni. Da budem iskren njihove filmove sam uglavnom povezivao sa Pedrom Almadovarom, tranvestitima i Antoniom Banderasom.
Ovaj film me je malo ostavio zatečenog.
Kada sam ga počeo gledati pomislio sam još jedna softcore komedija. U jednoj sobi tri podeblja međeda. Dvojica se krešu a trći ih požuruje da završe što prije jer treba da pospremi stan. Ovi potpuno zajapureni jebi se sve bolje no međedi u šumi. Onda scena nekog debljeg al kraćeg penisa i kurtona, pa dizanje nogu ..... dalje znate. Skoro pa hardcore.
Već sam filmu dao naziv Bear in action.
Kada su međedi napokon otišli, Pedro počne da posprema stan. Zvono na vratima i pojavljuje se Pedrova sestra sa osmogodišnjim sinom Bernardom.
Violeta sa svojim ljubavnikom hipikom ide u Indiju i moli Pedra da joj pričuva sina. Bernardo, jako vezan za majku ne želi da joj kvari odmor i ostaje sa ujakom u Madridu.
Od tog trenutka Pedro potpuno mijenja način života i potpuno se posvećuje svom nećaku. Dona Tereza , dijevojka prijatna oku mu pomaže i čuva ga dok je Pedro na poslu.
Bernardo uživa u njihovom društvu ali ipak broji dane kada će mu se majka vratiti iz Indije.
I da se film nebi završio tako brzo, jedan dan javljaju da je Violeta završila u zatvoru jer su joj na granici pronašli drogu.
Bernardo mora ostati kod ujaka.
Film obiluje dirljivim scenama u kojima Bernardo priča o majci, ali i o tome koliko voli ujaka.
Međutim Pedro koliko god se trudio da promijeni način života, nemože promijeniti ćud. I dalje traži načina da se povremeno kresne u mračnim sobama gay barova , i zabitima neuglednih parkova.
Kada bernardova Baka , sazna da je Bernardo kod Pedra pokuša na sve načine da dijete dovede kod sebe. međutim ni Berbardo , a ni Pedro to ne žele. Baba čak unajmi i detektiva da slika Pedra kako se pederiše po parkovima i ucijeni ga da joj da dijete. Međutim ništa joj ne uspjeva. tek kada sazna da Pedro ima AIDS uspjeva se dogovoriti sa njim da Bernardo pređe kod nje. Gledajući sce kada se njih dvojica rastavljaju napunile sumi se oči suza. zaista sjajna gluma.
Ono što mi je šokantno je to da se čovijek taman uživi i sa svim emocijama udubi u film, zaplaće, prestane da diše, kada već u sledećoj sceni ide bezobrazno pušenje kurca. Tako da sa suzama u očima direktno nastavi da gleda oral.
Da nije toga ovo ostvarenje bi bilo u samom vrhu. Ima prelijepu priču, odličnu glumu ,vrvi od emocija, a sve to zavijeno u prepoznatljivi stil savremenog španskog filma.
Naprosto neke scene su kao silom umetnute u ovaj film. Nije ni čudo da su ga Amerikanci isjekli prije prikazivanja na njihovom kontinentu.
Inače film je dobro primljen i nagrađivan na mnogim gay festivalima.

This is a great little movie. I was pleasantly surprised that it avoided falling into predictability and that it kept the characters, including the prudish grandmother, three-dimensional. In some ways, her character is the most interesting--like Violeta and Pedro, we want to hate her, but ultimately she turns out to be neither truly "evil" nor fully irredeemable--but nothing in the plot forces us to come around to liking her, either. I appreciated the fact that the movie's gay characters are bears, and that this is largely unremarkable.

Other reviewers commented on the frank sex scenes. These appear to have been cut from the movie in commercial release--and the cuts were especially noticeable and choppy. They rendered at least a couple of scenes pointless. There is a little bit of irony in sitting in a theatre near the West Village, in an audience that was probably 90% gay men, watching a movie that focuses on a (very) sexually active gay man, yet finding myself "protected" from witnessing the movie's sex scenes.

For instance, the opening scene, which I understand from reading reviews and comments is fairly explicit, simply opens with three men in bed together, and Pedro telling the other two to hurry up because family is coming. The bathhouse scene shows Pedro and another man walking off together, and then a very choppy edit finds us at the next scene. We do see some kissing and fully-clothed groping, and Pedro and his friend from Paris rolling around in bed and later waking up and cuddling. I don't have a particular need to see erect penises (at least, not in movies), but I have no idea what else I might have missed with the editing out of these scenes. And, of course, more to the point, these are (or were) part of the movie, whether they make some people uncomfortable or not.

I don't know--perhaps these cuts may have been a necessary compromise to put the film in commercial release, but it still sucks (so to speak). I guess I'll have to wait for the release of the DVD to see the film in unexpurgated form. (And maybe it'll include some cool outtakes, too?--no, just kidding).

Kada je izjavio da je HIV pozitivan, priča je opet stigla na naslovne strane.

Ovo je film napravljen po autobiografskom romanu koji je napisao sam Greg Louganis.
Ukoliko volite da gledate skokove u vodu ovo je pravi film za vas. Osim što film obiluje scenama prelijepih sportista čija se tijela izvijaju u vazduhu dok ne dosegnu površinu vode, film nam priča i poznatu gay priču o tome kako prihvatiti samog sebe . Kada se učinilo da je jedna bitka privedena kraju, dolazi druga čiji kraj je savim izvjestan!
Zanimljivo napravljen film, sa tuznim završetkom.

Gregory ("Greg") Efthimios Louganis (born January 29, 1960 in El Cajon, California) is an American diver, who is best known for winning back-to-back Olympic titles in both the 3m and 10m diving events. He received the James E. Sullivan Award in 1984 as the top amateur athlete in the United States.

Louganis is of Samoan/Swedish descent and was raised in California by his adoptive parents, a Greek-American couple. At age 16, he took part in the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, where he placed second in the tower event, behind Italian Klaus Dibiasi. Two years later, with Dibiasi retired, Louganis went on to win his first world title in the same event.

In 1978, he accepted a diving scholarship to the University of Miami where he studied theater, but in 1981 transferred to the University of California, Irvine, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts.

Louganis was a favorite for two golds in the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. But an American boycott of the games, instituted by U.S. President Jimmy Carter, in protest of the Soviet invasion and occupation of Afghanistan, prevented him from participating.

Louganis won two world titles in 1982, and in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, with record scores and leads over his opponents, Louganis won gold medals in both the springboard and tower diving events.

After winning two more world championship titles in 1986, he repeated his 1984 feat in the 1988 Seoul Olympics, although not without difficulties. In what is considered one of the greatest feats in sporting history, Louganis suffered an injury, hitting his head on the diving board during the preliminary rounds while performing a reverse 2 1/2 pike; he completed the preliminaries, despite a concussion, then went on to repeat the dive during the finals, with nearly perfect scores, earning him the gold medal. His incredible comeback earned him the title of ABC's Wide World of Sports Athlete of the Year for 1988.

Louganis posed nude for Playgirl magazine in 1987.

In 1994, Louganis announced he was gay; he took part in the 1994 Gay Games as diving announcer, and performed an exhibition of several dives to a standing-room only crowd of nearly 3,000 spectators.

In 1995, Louganis's autobiography co-written with Eric Marcus, entitled Breaking the Surface, was published. Louganis revealed publicly the domestic abuse and rape he suffered from a live-in lover and that he was HIV-positive. The announcement caused some controversy because of the belief, as expressed by then-United States Olympic Committee executive director Dr. Harvey Schiller,[1] that he should have disclosed his HIV status during the 1988 Olympic games because his diving board injury resulted in light bleeding. Louganis had agonized over whether to disclose his status but was later advised by AIDS expert Dr. Anthony Fauci that the injury posed no danger of infection to fellow competitors.[2]

Following the announcement of his HIV status, Louganis was dropped by most of his corporate sponsors, with the exception of the aquatics gear manufacturer Speedo, which continues to sponsor him as of 2007.

A doctor (Luiz Carlos Vasconcelos) is hired by the Brazilian government to check up on an AIDS epidemic in Carandiru, a notorious, overcrowded Săo Paolo prison. While the doctor treats the hardened inmates, they open up to him, revealing stories about their lives of hate and vengeance, hope and survival, tenderness and love.

No bez obzira na to preporučujem vam da pogledate ovaj film, a posebno oni koji AIDS smatraju nečim na što su imuni.
Film je snimljen 1990 i govori o prvim danima AIDSA, kada je ta bolest najviše ugrožavala gay populaciju, narkomane i hemofiličare. Srećom danas nije tako jer je velika većina gay populacije naučila kako da se zaštiti od ove na žalost smrtonosne bolesti.
