The movie is not set in a specific place or time and shows how beautiful and genuine a LGBT family can be. But ignorance will come in their lives and destroy their happiness. Although it is a gay film, it does not focus on gay issue (love, cruelty of life, paradox of choices, etc.) but focuses on the normal life and thought of a human, his name is Pietro.   Pietro wants to be an actor, and endeavours to do all that he can to become one, but he just fails. When he has his own apartment and the upcoming dinner with his love, bitter truth reveals to the viewers what they do not know until then about Pietro, about the way he is obsessed with love. However, and also marvelously handling, the film immediately draws our attention to the other and also the biggest event in the film. Pietro meets ghosts. Little by little, Pietro finds way to understand the existence of the ghosts.
Also, bit by bit does he learn from those "artist" ghosts who were actors and actresses at their time. Will luck smile on Pietro? Viewers will decide for themselves when Pietro continuously "loses" the expected and "gets" the unexpected during his encounters in life.   At the end of the film, truth reveals about the death of the actors and actress, the reason why they become ghosts.
Again, tenderly tackling, the film draws our attention to the emotions and actions of Pietro when viewers observe his eyes when he watches another man who is his neighbor and also with those eyes at the final stage do viewers understand now there are things more important than just falling in love and living for oneself. The happy life is a life which gives away happiness to others', and the meaningful life is the life which is not born with meaningful things but has to create meanings for itself.
Intelligent comedy with meanings, up and down contexts with purposes, real drama with truthful emotions and feelings, the film combines and diverts things into a tasty soup. Viewers' role is to sip it slowly and tenderly…

come-non-detto-valeria-bilello-josafat-vagni-foto-dal-film-7_midVolite Cher, Lady Gagu, a Severina vas izluđuje svojim pjesmama.

I absolutely loved the film
27 February 2013 | by itsvivek4u (United States)
New Image2I absolutely loved this film. This film was comical, funny, emotional , romantic, had family values. In short it had everything that makes my heart feel glad with happiness and satisfaction. There wasn't a single moment in the film that got me bored. The film was not too lengthy , which kept everything interesting. Everything was right, without over-acting and subtle. It doesn't mean the film did not have flaws. It did and I will talk more about those later.
Mattia has just finished college and is about to move to Spain for job. Reality is he wants to be closer to his boyfriend. Tonight, there is a family dinner for his farewell. Mattia has told his boyfriend Eduard that he is out to his family and they are all OK with it but reality is Mattia is struggling hard to tell the truth. Every opportunity he got, something came up and he couldn't tell. Eduard decides to give him surpass on the family dinner night, so that he can meet family in person. Now begins hilarious quest on how to keep Eduard away from the family without telling him the truth. We are shown details of life of Mattia's parents, sister, brother-in-law and my favorite, the grandmother. We also meet his best friends, a drag queen and his girlfriend. The story keeps going in flashback where Mattia tells us how he has landed in the current situation.
Vagni-Josafat1-610x250Ultimately, when he can't take it anymore, at his final dinner, he just blurts it all out and comes out to his family in a very emotional and touching speech. He thinks he will shock everyone but he is the one who is shocked when he finds that his family knew all along but just did not know how to deal with it and how to make Mattia comfortable to tell him. All ends well and Mattia finally goes to Spain with Eduard.
It is funny that sometimes, we think we know our family and that they will not understand what we are going through, but we are so wrong. Parents usually understand us much better than anyone else ever will. And this is shown beautifully towards the end of the film after Mattia comes out to his family. Like I said before, every scene of the film was fantastic, acting was exceptionally good by pretty much everyone and the production values were really high. Mattia was sooooooo cute. I wish the film had shown mor1344511471168_ninni-bruschetta-josafat-vagni-e-jos-dammert-in-come-non-dettoe of the relationship between the couple but then at the same time, I understand that their relationship was not the primary focus of the film-maker. It is supposed to be coming-of-age story and it was just that. The film focuses on all relationships. Mattoa's relationship with his girlfriend and his drag friend was very natural, warm and very believable. Usually these relations look very forced in other films but here it just felt natural. My favorite in the film was grandma. I would watch this film just for the scenes with her. She was so cool, natural and funny. I think her track was very novel, innovative and funny without making her like a demented person. The father was also funny and so was sister's small track. I fell in love with this small Italian family and wanted to be part of them.
The way film kept going back in flashbacks was also done very efficiently. It does not confuse audience because Mattia's voice over explains what's going on. I would strongly recommend this movie as a gay person. There is so much trash out there that this one comes as a pleasant surprise. What is strange is that this movie is no great shakes by any means but right from first scene I just got into it and the film did it for me. I might end up giving it a little extra rating (which I would not otherwise) but hey, what can I do. (9/10)

Sometimes eroticism lays hidden in that moment suspended within the space that separates two bodies which cannot touch each other.

Ferzan Ozpetek’s Loose Cannons is a pretty typical Italian tale of dynastic change. Tommaso (Riccardo Scamarchio) is an aspiring writer who returns from Rome to his provincial southern hometown, where his father is planning to hand the family pasta factory to him and brother Antonio (Alessandro Preziosi).

Tommaso plans a dramatic confession that he’s gay to escape such drudgery, but is beaten to the punch by his equally secretly gay brother. One paternal heart attack later, family ties are snapping.

Ozpetek takes these men and women as they are, revealing deep emotions in broad strokes. Everyone here is a disappointed misfit, not just the loose cannons in the clan.

But where a Fellini would also include hard barbs of human nature at its worst, Ozpetek’s deep belief in family and friends sees these bonds soften the conflict. He has the all-embracing, crowd-pleasing virtues of a daytime soap. But he has a bigger, truer heart.

Description:

CB_008

A u stvarnosti?

CB_029

Jednom sam u Budimpešti u poznatoj banji "GELERT" upoznao jednog rumuna. Predstavim mu se i počnemo svoje priče, ja o balkanskoj, on o rumunskoj.

On me pita koliko ostajem u Budimpešti i gdje sam odsjeo. Proveli smo dva nezaboravna dana zajedno.

Primjetim da me nako prati kolima.

A better movie than appears onscreen lurks within "Cover Boy ... The Last Revolution," but helmer Carmine Amoroso hasn't figured out how to pull it out from the excess nonsense. As a tract against consumerism and the overimportance of status, the pic has much that hits the mark, but the screenplay loses itself halfway through and considerably weakens the tale of a Romanian illegal immigrant and his friendship with a hard-luck Italian. Frustration is palpable because there's plenty to praise, though offshore Italo fests will probably be the sole takers.
A beautifully edited montage running through the Cold War and the fall of Ceausescu gets things rolling, followed by the random shooting of young Ioan's father Florin (Gabriel Spahiu) on the revolutionary streets of Bucharest. Cut to the present, and 23-year-old Ioan (dancer-choreographer Eduard Gabia) is convinced by a friend to join him in Italy. On the train, the friend gets hauled off by immigration, and Ioan arrives in Rome alone and without prospects.

CB_026

Michele (Luca Lionello, Judas in "The Passion of the Christ"), a janitor in the main train station, takes pity on Ioan and offers to rent him space in his apartment. Gradually the two hit it off, though Ioan seems oblivious to Michele's sexual interest.
Work is haphazard for them both: Ioan is illegal, and Michele, at 40, hardly qualifies as a success story. Landlady Luciana (well-known comic Luciana Littizzetto) barely tolerates Michele's tardy payments, but her patience is wearing thin.
Everything changes when Ioan is rescued from squeegee hell by photographer Laura (Chiara Caselli), who decides he has an authentic something about him. She pulls him off the street, gets him papers and sets him on the catwalks of Milan in an overextended and ridiculously improbable about-face that considerably weakens the pic's thrust, notwithstanding the revelations of Laura's venal motives.
[CB_023[4].jpg] If only Amoroso had been satisfied with detailing the burgeoning friendship between Ioan and Michele, he could have sharpened his critique of rampant capitalism and perhaps even said something new about the tired "closeted gay man in love with his straight roommate" story. He's created fully formed, complex characters, but is unsure where to take them: Much more could have been made of Michele, a man unable to lift himself out of society's margins and express something as fundamental as his sexuality.
Comparing Michele's status as a marginalized Italian to Ioan's illegal immigrant is thought-provoking, and it's refreshing to find an East European who maintains an emotional connection to his home country. But again, Amoroso fails to develop the concepts and instead throws in pointless fashion-world scenes that seriously compromise his aims.
At his best with actors, Amoroso deploys a cinematic style that combines moments of restrained elegance with the occasional overly simplistic setup. It's been 10 years since his last directorial effort, "As You Want Me," and the current pic's unevenness certainly suggests a talented but inexperienced director at the helm. Blow-up from HD is fault-free.

Description:

Svak voli svakoga, Ja volim tebe i njega, on voli tebe i mene, a ti voliš i njega i mene!

vlcsnap-2009-08-29-21h48m42s210 This is an unusual Italian release. It doesn't aspire to more than what it is and what it is, is rather nice. What's good about it is mostly thanks to Luca Argentero and Filippo Negri. Argentero is rapidly becoming a big star and with reason. He has a compelling presence on the screen and you can sense a lot of room for improvement, so, I'm sure that when he meets the "right" director he will become transcendental. Filippo Negri is perfect as his loving foil and their scenes together reeked of an unexpected truth. Claudia Gerini however, more restrained than usual but not restrained enough still plays to the camera for laughs. She doesn't seem to trust her own delivery or anything about her character. The script should be applauded for so many daring things but the structure is faulty to say the least. Gerini's change of heart is far too fast, for a cunning political woman, the fastness contradicted everything about the character but, let me say, I was amused and I was taken by the intentions. Not a film by one of those unbearable "auteurs" and not a mindless Chrismas comedy either. Than in itself makes it a welcome oddity.

Uomini uomini uomini (1995)

Uomini uomini uomini (1995)

Ja napisah tolike gluposti a ni jedne riječi o filmu! Pogledajte!

This film chronicles 6 months in the lives of four middle-aged homosexual friends, each of whom is a neurotic wreck. The film opens in a gay disco with very hunky Italian Go-Go boys and moves on through the lives of each of the men. As we watch the problems plaguing them, we also see their sense of humor, as they spur each other to perform outrageous pranks and sexual games. They love, suffer, fight, are good or bad, and are generous or envious. All four characters are shown as lonely, pathetic, predatory, misogynistic and incapable of sustaining an intimate long-term relationship--but they laugh at the cards that life has dealt them. Sandro (Massimo Ghini) is a television producer who discovered his homosexuality after having started a family. Dado (Alessandro Haber) is a successful orthopedic surgeon. Tony (Leo Gullotta) is a women's tailor who lives with his possessive mother. And Vittorio (Christian De Sica) is an architect in love with an associate who is about to be wed. Together, the four men party through Rome, sharing adventures, practical jokes, and some disappointments. There is a sobering and frightening climax with a very handsome, naive, and vulnerable straight young man.

The movie is intelligent and mature, yet full of young-at-heart lust and desire, as well as pain and pathos. All four actors give excellent performances, lending depth to their characters and making them sympathetic. Sandro, the most macho of the group, is particularly intense. Yet as good as the actors are, they cannot compensate for a gag-driven script that is predictable, with gay stereotypes. Basically, the film is a series of vignettes in which the characters' growth is substantially limited. Yet it is an entertaining, enjoyable movie, despite its lack of continuity. Christian De Sica's direction is almost perfect, making one to wonder what level of success he might attain with a decent screenplay. De Sica wrote the screenplay. The English title is "Men or Not Men".

Synopsis: Claudio lives a very regimented life, from his job, to his boyfriend to the HIV medication he must take. He longs to break free and when Andrea enters his life, he offers a life without complications, but with many risks.

1963-3-giorniQuick review: I have to think that when this movie came out in Italy it caused some controversy. After I watched it I was unsure what to do with it. It was compelling and a story unlike any other I've seen. But one with a dangerous message. Andrea is willing to risk everything, including his life, to be with the man he loves. That is Claudio, who has HIV and is tired of always having to be careful. So, Andrea convinces him to throw caution to the wind and engage in unsafe sex. The experience is liberating for Claudio. He enjoys the sense of freedom and is conflicted with the guilt he feels for putting Andrea at risk, his relationship with his boyfriend Dario, and his decision to move to Milan. His doubts are in major contrast to Andrea, who knows exactly what he wants. He wants to be with Claudio, but he knows he could never live such a regimented lifestyle and promises he'll never take HIV medication. Those choices can only lead to one conclusion. It's controversial, but if you can accept the premise -- a mighty big if -- it's a hell of a love story.

35-year-old Claudio works as a bank manager, has been HIV-positive for ten years and has an HIV-negative lover named Dario. One night, Claudio meets a sexy young waiter named Andrea, and the two hook up. Claudio cautions Andrea that they need a condom, but Andrea lives for the moment, and the moment is all about love. So they proceed unprotected. In the weeks and months that follow, Claudio sheds his rigidness, letting Andrea’s devil-may-care love of life infect him. Are these guys grossly irresponsible, completely nuts or just hopelessly in love? You be the judge.

Diary of a Male Porn Star (Poco piů di un anno fa (2003))

Diary of a Male Porn Star

U ovom filmu možemo vidjeti jedan dirljivi prikaz dnevnika porno zvijezde Ricki Kandinskija ( Riccardo Soldani ).
Probleme sa porodicom i okolinom imaju i sasvim obični coming out gayevi, a kamoli ovi ekranizovani.

ADORED (or "Poco piu di un anno fa") is a superb film that smacks of brilliance on every level. The fact that this is the writing, directing AND acting debut of Marco Filiberti should alert the cinema world that a major talent has arrived. This is a film about a very lovable young man who just happens to be a gay porn star and how that choice of career affects his life, his family, his philosophy, and his impact on all those around him.

The film opens with some odd commentators who we find are being utilized for a documentary in the year 2014 on the life of Riki Kandinsky (Marco Filiberti) who died in 2002. The men making the film are steered by one 'Pietro'. We discover that Riki was born in France to a wealthy, stuffy family, but fled to Rome when his mother died, leaving his brother Federico (Urbano Barberini) and his father behind. In Rome Riki Soldani becomes Riki Kandinsky, the most sought after male porn star in Italy, lusted after for his muscular good looks, his infamously grand sexual equipment, and his scintillating sexuality. Riki is not a hustler, though he does frequent bars and bathhouses for his gratification. His friends include a fellow porn star Claudio (Claudio Vanni) and a loopy female named Luna ((Rosalinda Celentano). He lives in a splendid home, is obviously making a lot of money, and yet he is not partnered: Riki believes relationships, even with men, are too transient and are doomed from the start.

Riki's father dies, he returns to France to his home, where his family cannot accept his lifestyle. He returns to Rome, convinced he is alone in the world except for his extended family in the porn industry. Soon Federico visits him in Rome to implore the wealthy Riki to help resolve the fact that their father's death left mountains of debt, the family mansion being the only viable asset. Federico confronts Riki about his disgusting life, but to Riki's credit he brings Federico to a point where Federico is not only accepting, but embracing Riki's friends and occupational life!

When Riki observes an auto accident that kills a Lesbian mother, leaving her young son an orphan, Riki is at last touched by a 'fellow-traveler': young 'Plapla' (his real name is Pietro) understands the gay world despite his young years and longs to have Riki as his foster parent, much to the chagrin of his grandparents who barely know this son of a lesbian daughter. Federico assists Riki in his efforts to obtain guardianship, but the attempt is unsuccessful. Decimated, Riki flies to France, to the Gay Olympics and the adulation of being a champion soccer player as a means to amend his inability to gain a 'son'. The film's conclusion is sad: a life comes to an end and this end is the raison d'etre for the documentary we observed at the beginning of the movie. And you must see this magical film for yourself to tie all the threads together!

Though many will find aspects of the film bordering on the surreal or pushing credibility over the edge, Marco Filiberti has produced so much food for thought, tender discussions about acceptance of who we are, our need for connection, and a 'fabulous' look into the gay porn industry, that those who are not moved by this film will be few. The cinematography, costumes, set decor, music, and above all, the acting is all of the very highest caliber. Filiberti has a unique method of storytelling that gives notice of a true creative mind on his initial venture. Not only is he a fine writer and a very fine director, he is a feast for the eyes and an actor whose magnetism in front of the camera is impossible to ignore.
