David and Neils are best friends and their love for each other as friends came about because of their love of sports. However, their friendship will be tested when David finds out that Neils is gay.

Written by Lazlo & Dylan Tonk, this is a depiction of the emotional rollercoaster of coming out within the macho environment of the sporting arena. Here the sport is track and the film feels very real. We see scenes that strikingly juxtapose outright prejudice with the open arms of sexual acceptance, frankly there’s a lot to like here, including an ending that’s guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. Unfortunately we can only gather from watching what happens as there no English subtitles (yet). Nonetheless we feel the heartfelt message of love and acceptance comes through the Dutch celluloid loud and clear thus making this a delightful viewing experience.

Tako je usvojeno dijete i raste u porodici sa dvije majke, lezbijke koje vode računa o njemu. Druži se školskom drugaricom Fatimom, drugovi u školi ga nazivaju Bounty što označava nekoga ko se ponaša kao bijelac, a izvana izgleda kao crnac.
Tako ne zna ko mu je otac i u svom albumu skuplja sličice crnih pjevača i glumaca i mašta da mu je neko od njih otac.

Zaključuje da su velike šanse da mu je otac poopularni holandski reper Dutch i kada to kaže svojim surinamskim školskim drugarima ovi mu kažu da će ako se bude ponašao kao bijelac u crnoj koži samo obrukati oca.
Tako odlučuje da postane crnac i počne da vježba da se ponašao kao crnac.
Kada se konačno susretne sa Dirty Man dobija lekciju koju će pamtiti cjeli život i rođendansko slavlje o kakvom nije ni sanjao.

Suština ove lijepe priče je da moramo da naučimo da prihvatamo druge ljude onakve kakvi jesu, bez osude i želje da ih mjenjamo. Da bi to postigli moramo prvo prihvatiti sami sebe. Svi se mi tokom života mjenjamo u skladu sa načinom života i godinama postajemo svjesniji svojih želja, promašaja i dostignuća. Zadovoljni ili ne to smo što smo i društvu u kojem živimo možemo ponuditi samo to i ništa više. Sve drugo je laž.

Tako, an adopted black kid, is raised by two white lesbian mothers. He's the whitest black kid in school and the other black kids bully him by calling him 'Bounty', after the coconut-filled chocolate bar: black on the outside, white on the inside. Tako doesn't know who his father is and he fantasizes that his father might be a big star like Dutch-Surinamese soccer stars like Clarence Seedorf or Ruud Gullit. To his surprise, Tako finds out that there's a good chance that his biological father might be the popular Dutch gangster rapper Dirty Man. When two Surinamese bullies tell him his father would be ashamed to have a 'bounty' as a son, Tako is left with only one solution: he has to become blacker… For a fee his bullies train Tako in becoming black. When he finally meets Dirty Man in person Tako learns a powerful lesson about staying true to yourself.

Prvi poljubac koliko god izgledao nespretan pamtimo cjeli život. Na žalost sticajem okolnosti jedva da se sjećam mog prvog poljupca, ali nikada neću zaboraviti poljubac na stepenicama ispod jedne tvrđave. Nakon što smo sjedeći na jednom starom austrougarskom topu pogledali zalazak sunca i ispričali sve šta nam se izdešavalo taj dan krenuli smo prema gradu. U jednom momentu je požurio ispred mene i zastao. Kada sam mu se približio rekao mi je stani, prišao mi i poljubio me. Nakon poljupca rekao je: Idemo sada da popijemo pivo. Bio mu je to prvi poljubac sa muškarcem.

Ovih dana sam pogledao bar 10 filmova za koje mi se učinjelo da bi se mogli naći u ovom blogu. Za neke još nisam siguran , ali većina bi se mogla naći pod rubrikom smeće! Žalosno je koliko gay zajednica sama sebi nameće stereotipe koji ih čine prepoznatljivim i drugačijim od ostatka svjeta.
Lično sam protivnik toga. Seksualno opredeljenje nije nešto što treba da nam određuje načim života.

Jutros sam pogledao ovaj film u trajanju od 48 minuta. Ovaj Holandski film , na jedan tipično evropski način nam govori od tome koliko se
različitosti privlače, ali i koliko brutalno mogu da se suprostave.
Kees je povučen i prilično nedruželjubljiv momak koji stalno upada u konflikte sa školskim drugovima.Često je izložen sadističkom maltretiranju
od strane drugova iz razreda koji zaziru od njegovg totalno drugačijeg ponašanja i prirode.
Keesa privlači Charel, zgodan , seksipilan i sadistički nastrojen momak sa kojim sjedi u školskoj klupi.
Odluči da ga pozove kući da zajedno uče....

n this short motion picture, schoolboy Kees is intelligent, introvert and sensitive, but gets ridiculed verbally and physically at an all-boys school by mindlessly cocky class mates and even insensitive teachers, especially in gym, where his physical weakness is mercilessly abused to make him a defenseless laughing stock in front of his smirking peers. His awakening sexual interest goes to boys, and in particular to Charel, a beautiful athletic classmate who probably feels an undetermined interest but would never risk admitting (possibly not even to himself) having any gay or bi appreciation, least of all for a 'sissy', and thus remains unresponsive to shy Kees' overtures.
