Sticajem okolnosti upoznaje Aleksa, otmenog engl. gospodina koji mu za sebe kaže da radi u nekoj od investicionoj banci za bogate kijente.
Alex živi urednim društveno prihvatljivim načinom života, pažljibvo bira skupocjenu garderobu, posjećuje mjesta rezervisana za višu klasu, redovno se bavi sportom i svojim stilom i načinom života ničim ne odaje da bi mogao da ima bilo kakav odnos sa nekim likom kao što je Danny.

Prva epizoda ove serije nam prikazuje kako nastaje njihovo prijateljstvo, otkrivanje emocija, seks i sve elemente jedne lijepe romanse.
Već nakon prve epizode u medijima se razbuktala priča kako je  BBC sebi dopustio nedopustivo. U ranim večernjim satima emitovao je strastven seks dva muškarca i prikazao nešto što nikada nebi uzrujalo većinu ljudi da se radilo o muško-ženskom paru.
Ipak britanski cenzori još nisu odlučili da li će ispitati okolnosti ovog slučaja i pored jedne žalbe koju su zaprimili i objavili da ni u kojem slučaju neće praviti diskriminaciju između heteroseksualnog i homoseksualnog seksa.

U svakom slučaju svim čitaocima ovog sajta preporučujem da pogledaju ovu izvrsno režiranu TV seriju koja nam već u prvoj epizodi otkriva da se radi o zapletu u kojem sasvim sigurno britanska obavještajna služba ima jednu od glavnih uloga.

The gripping, contemporary, emotional thriller stars Ben Whishaw (The Hour, Skyfall, Bright Star) as Danny, an innocent, young romantic drawn into a dangerous world of espionage. London Spy is the story of a chance romance between two people from very different worlds, one from the headquarters of the Secret Intelligence Service, the other from a world of clubbing and youthful excess. Danny (Whishaw) – gregarious, hedonistic, romantic and adrift, falls for the anti-social enigmatic and brilliant Alex (Holcroft). Just as the two of them realize that they’re perfect for each other, Alex disappears. Danny, utterly ill-equipped to take on the complex and codified world of British espionage, must decide whether he’s prepared to fight for the truth.

Tom Rob Smith’s award-winning Child 44 trilogy was an international publishing sensation and has been turned into a movie with Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman and Noomi Rapace, produced by Ridley Scott, scheduled for release in April 2015.

London Spy is produced by Guy Heeley, and executive producers are Tom Rob Smith, Juliette Howell, Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner for Working Title Television, and Head of Independent Drama Commissioning, Polly Hill, for BBC Two. The miniseries will be distributed by NBC Universal and BBC Worldwide.

Kada sam pročitao ovaj šturi opis serije pomislio sam da se radi o jednoj prosječnoj američkoj sapunici. Nakon prvih nekoliko epizoda Empire je počeo da se pominje na većini gej sajtova, a pošto je serija već nakon treće epizode dobila status jedne od najgledanijih u USA odlučio sam da je pogledam.
Uz gomilu sjajne muzike i zanimljivih likova u seriji u startu mi se dopao Jamal, Luciousov najmlađi sin kojeg je otac bacio u kantu za smeće kada je sa 4-5 godina obukao mamine štikle.
Otac ga je stalno sklanjao od sebe zbog toga sto je gej, ali nije mu se mnogo mješao u privatni život čak i kada je počeo zajednički život sa momkom. Druga dva brata su ga prihvatila kao takvog i naravno majka koja je prema njemu oduvjek imala zaštitnički odnos.

I tako iz epizode u epizodu dočekah Jamalov coming out. Pjevajući očevu pjesmu na jednoj zabavi na koju je došla cjela familija zamjenio je stihove pjesme "You’re So Beautiful" pa je u refrenu otpjevao:

EW had an exclusive first listen to “You’re So Beautiful,” the brand new track from the Lyons’ gay son Jamal (Jussie Smollett), who’s on course to be music’s next big music thing.

It’s from last night's episode of Empire, sure to be a hit after the ratings craziness so far, since this week it's time for the Lyon family to come together and record a legacy album with Lucious, Hakeem, and Jamal. Cookie and Camilla (guest star Naomi Campbell) finally come face-to-face, Andre struggles with some inner demons, and Jamal steps into the spotlight with news that surprises everyone in the all-new “The Lyon’s Roar” episode of EMPIRE on Wednesday.

'You’re So Beautiful’ is one of my favorite songs this season,” Smollett tells EW. “It was produced by the great Jim Beanz and co-written by Jim and myself. When Jim first played the track, it spoke right to me. The lyrics were actually inspired by Gabby Sidibe. She’s confident, sexy, and owns exactly who she is, but every now and then… you just need to simply hear the words, ‘You’re So Beautiful.’ ”

Could Jamal/Jussie have the best gay pop/R&B love song of all time on his hands? It was certainly his coming out anthem.

Romance is in the air for Nathan and Muscles (Leon Acord, Jeffrey Patrick Olson), as they bond with their respective new boyfriends, Jake and Lucas (Curtis Wayne Brown, Dan Oliverio).

As the gang gathers at Ross’ house for the holiday, Lydia (Amanda Gari) is thrilled to introduce the guys to her new boyfriend (Andy Gates). But despite her happiness and Ross’ recent good news, it seems she’s the only one in a festive mood.

While the guys rave about Nathan’s new beau Jake (Curtis Wayne Brown), Nathan (Acord) can’t stop wondering how Damian is spending the holiday.  Muscles (Jeffrey Patrick Olson) complains that dating Lucas is making him fat. Ross’ (David Pevsner) holiday is ruined when a drunken Neal (Parnell Damone Marcano) crashes.  And then Brad (Curt Bonnem) drops a bombshell:  he’s becoming a gigolo!  

Did Acord enjoy his first stint in the director’s chair?

“I was a bit nervous at first,” says Acord.  “But I must confess that it was so easy! I’d forget I was the director. Folks would be waiting for me to call ‘cut’!  But that’s because our actors know their characters so well. Each of our directors has told me, at one point or another, that these actors direct themselves. And it’s true.  Plus, we have a wonderful crew that I trust one-hundred percent. There were some shots where I didn’t even look in the viewfinder!”

The series returns next Wednesday with its fourth new episode, “To Have & Have Not,” directed by Steven Curtis.

Serija ima priču koja je večini nas poznata, ali uvijek je nekako drugačija.
Stéphane (Francis Ducharme), zgodan i uspješan arhitekta iz Montreala preko interneta upoznaje  zgodnjikavog i lepršavog momka iz New Yorka po imenu Hugh (Matthew Ludwinski).
Nakon svadje sa svojim ex momkom (Matt) impulsivno poziva Hugha da ga posjeti u Montreal.
Nekoliko dana kasnije potpuno neočekivano dobija poruku od Hugha da je stigao u njegov grad.
Stéphane  koji je tek izašao iz veze potrudi se da bude dobar domaćin.

Seriju je lako odgledati jer ima 6 kratkih epizoda koje sve zajedno traju oko 25 minuta.
Mene je podsjetilo na jednog momka kojeg sam upoznao preko interneta. Dosta dugo smo se dopisivali i na kraju odlučimo da se upoznamo. Da ne bi bilo ni kod mene ni kod njega našli smo se na Paliću kod Subotice i nakon toga otišli u Segedin gdje smo proveli nezaboravan vikend. Išli po restoranima, šetali p gradu, noćnim klubovima, seksali se do iznemoglosti u iznajmljenom apartmanu, pričali o sebi i onome šta volimo, pa čak i o stvarima koje ljudi obično zadrže za sebe.
Nakon toga je došao dan kada se moramo razdvojiti i vratiti se svojim ranijim životima.

Ostane tako neka gorčina sa gomilom pitanja na koje nemamo odgovore, ali i sjećanje na tamo nekog za koga definitivno možemo reći da je ona srodna duša koju nismo mogli zadržati za sebe.

Created by Logo and producer Jimmy Lee in partnership with Tourisme Montréal, the six-part series takes place over a weekend in the life of Montreal native Stéphane, (actor Francis Ducharme). He’s a handsome young architect with a bright career and a rich social life, although he hasn’t quite gotten over his ex, Matt (Nico Racicot). But things are looking up. He’s met a sexy New Yorker named Hugh (Matthew Ludwinski) online and Hugh is coming to Montreal for an unexpected weekend visit.

You might recognize Ludwinski as the star of Going Down in La-La Land. The adorable French Canadian Ducharme may be less well known to TheBacklot readers, but trust us, he’s definitely worth googling!

One of the aims of this project is to promote travel to Montreal, and it’s true the gorgeous city figures prominently in the web series. But we don’t think that gets in the way of a beautifully shot, intimate story of two gay men tentatively negotiating the beginning of a relationship. Check out the first two episodes below. HBO je 19.01. započeo sa emitiranjem nove TV serije pod nazivom "Loking". Već ste vjerovatno gledali trajlere i najave za ovu seriju, a mnogi su očekivali nešto poput "Queer As Folk". Medjutim odmah ću da vas razočaram, nema nikakve sličnosti sa serijom koja je po mnogima uspjela da prikaže gay svjet oko nas razbijajući sve tabue nametnute od konzervativnih televizijskih produkcija.
"Looking" je priča o iskustvima i životu tri gej prijatelja u San Francisku koji upadaju u različite  komične, romantične ili tragične situacije iz kojih izlaze uvjek drugačiji kao ljudi.
Na žalost mnogi od nas su očekivali malo više hrabrosti od HBO-a u prikazivanju seksi scena koje su bar u prve tri odgledane epizode na nivou porodične nedeljne TV serije, a ako je upoređujemo sa serijama kao što su "Game Of Thrones" ili "True Blood" onda se "Looking" može svrstati u priče za učenike balkanskih srednjih škola.

U svakom slučaju vam preporučujem da pogledate ovu seriju u slobodnom vremenu kada vam dosadi chatovanje na gayromeu ili bespomučno drkaneje na skype, a dečko vam nije tu da vam uljepša dan.
Mnoge od priča će vas definitivno podsjetiti na neke iz vaših života, a mene je podsjetila na nedavno iskustvo sa jednim momkom iz Beograda.

Nesiguran u sebe, predstavljao se kao čovjek koji ima dosta iskustva i zna šta hoće. Kako sam bio sam u stanu na proputovanju u BG pozovem ga i nadjemo se. Brzo smo popili kafu i završili u krevetu u kojem smo proveli 3-4 minute od kojih su dvije bile u stanju mirovanja uz rečenicu: Ne pomjeraj se, svršiću. Ja mu rekao zamisli da sam ružna baba tvog najboljeg prijatelja. Zažmurio je i rekao: Ne pomaže, jaoooooooo. Nakon što nije znao kako da zapakuje i baci upotrebljeni kondom, ćutljivo se obukao i rekao kako mu je ovo bio doživiljaj za pamćenje.
Ostao sam sam u stanu razmišljajući da li se nešto desilo ili sam zadrijemao.

Germany - Julian is a 16-years-old boy like any other. He goes to school, has a never ending problem with his parents and dates a girl. But one day, he is attracted by somebody else – a boy. This feeling leads to a lot of confusion in Julian's mind and certain troubles with friends and family. What does is it mean to be gay or bisexual?  How does it feel to kiss somebody of the same gender? Will my parents and friends accept me? These are the typical question that queer teenagers have. The web series "Julian" is based on it.

 

"This series is an excellent work that empowers teenagers during their coming-out. It gives them the chance to identify with the main characters as a role-model. This is extremely important - especially to those that don't know any queer to look up to as an idol", says Falk Steinborn, the founder of the organisation queerblick from Germany. It tries to empower young LGBT through media. His volunteers and him have subtitled the series into English. Originally it was produces by a team of young queers from the LGBT youth center anyway in Cologne (Germany). Among them were some up-and-coming filmmakers that had the idea for the series and produced it with other attendees of the youth center on super low budget. "We are very happy that the LGBT youth center 'anyway' wanted to cooperate with us in order to spread the message of the series world wide", says Steinborn. The chances for that are not too bad. The YouTube channel of queerblick counts more than 400.000 views every month and has more than 13.000 subscribers. The first episode of the series can be watched now. Further eight episodes and one series finale in the format of a 17-minutes short film will follow week by week.

Boy Meets Boy is an American reality television show in which a gay man met and chose a mate from a group of 15 potential male suitors. The show was made more novel by the fact that the "leading man" did not know that the mix of suitors included both gay and hetero men.
The show premiered July 29, 2003, on the Bravo cable television channel. A total of six episodes were aired weekly until the finale on September 2, 2003. The show was taped in Palm Springs, California and hosted by Dani Behr.

Nije neka gluma ali može se lagodno pogledati ukoliko imate višak slobodnog vremena.

Nekako mi se potrefila u vrijeme kad mi se smučilo romeovsko lutanje po profilima i instant seks sa likovima koji osim što djeluju površno i frustrirani odavaju snažan utisak pogubljenosti sa svim simptomima bolesti koja kao infekcija proždire gay zajednicu.
Govorim o manijakalnoj potrebi za ispunjavanje kvote kurčeva u toku jedne sedmice, takmičeći se sa samim sobom za što bolji rezultat. Pri svemu tome promiče im da većinu ljudi sa kojima su imali seks nikada zaista neće ni upoznati.
