I completely missed the boat on this one – KRAMPACK (a.k.a. NICO & DANI) is an excellent film. To temporarily ditch any pretense of objectivity, this was very nostalgic – my adolescence was a good bit more modest, but the experiences and conversations (even the summertime setting) at many points through this film hit close to home. I won’t rehash the plot, which is well-covered by previous reviewers here, but I will say that the film really gets the mix of unease and anticipation right in depicting the evolving relationship between Nico & Dani. On this front, it’s a five-star gay-themed drama.
The performances are quite expressive and naturalistic – no movie-of-the-week feelgood speeches appear here, and none are needed. The slightest changes in expression (contrast Nico’s responses to Dani through the first 2/3 of the film, to his responses during the last 20 minutes or so) convey great warmth and understanding, giving him the ability to reaffirm his friendship with Dani (in a ‘positive’ statement greater than any speech) even as they both understand by film’s end that the dynamic of their friendship won’t ever be quite the same.
On this note the film does have something to offer anyone – it’s universal without getting saccharine, and deeply committed to the humanity of its’ characters. There aren’t any complex philosophical or political undercurrents here, but none are needed – the respect and graceful treatment afforded to two ultimately different characters are more than adequate. A fine flick.
Coming of age, on a Barcelona beach, during an eventful week: Nico arrives at Dani’s for part of the summer. Dani’s parents are away, Nico is keen to lose his virginity, and Dani, who’s been Nico’s friend since grammar school, wants time only with Nico. Dani’s plans to hunt and fish are waylaid when Nico catches the eye of Elena and her cousin Berta. He wants to go to the beach with the girls, cook them dinner, and make love to at least one of them. Dani wants social and physical contact with Nico. Watching from a short distance are Sonia, Dani’s tutor, and Julian, a gay writer, who picks up Dani’s vibes. Can Nico and Dani sort out friendship as well as their mixed desires?

After an absence of thirty years, writer Fernando Vallejo returns to Medellín, the city where he was born and raised. Little remains of what he had left behind. His parents are dead and so are his siblings and most of his friends.Half the city has been destroyed to make room for an elevated subway. The cocaine Mafia - the Medellín Cartel - sows terror with gangs of assassins: boys from the city’s poor neighborhoods employed as hired killers who are often doomed to die at the hands of rival gangmembers.
One of these boys is Alexis, a sixteen-year-old who despite his youth already has a few murders on his conscience. Fernando has just gotten into town when
he is introduced to Alexis by a childhood friend in a male brothel. Fernando and Alexis fall in love. In this city ruled by horror, chaos and hate, where blood-debts are passed on
from brother to brother and from one friend to another, as if the fate of the living were in the hands of the dead.In this city where the only oases of peace are the churches... they fall in love.
A hopeless love, destined to fail through no fault of their own, but for the circumstances they are caught up in. A stereo Fernando buys Alexis is the motive for a first squabble, as the latter has the habit of leaving dance music on at a deafening volume at all hours of the day and night. But soon they are at odds over a greater issue as Alexis murders anyone who happens to cross their path or bother Fernando. At the slightest provocation, Alexis, like a new Exterminating Angel, unhesitatingly whips out his gun and fires. Condemned by the emptiness of their lives, they go aimlessly from church to church and murder to murder, a more confident love growing between them, until one day Alexis is killed in a drive-by shooting. Wrought with grief, Fernando goes to the barrio slums of Santo Domingo Savio to meet Alexis’s mother, a poor woman with several children. She tells him that her son was killed by a boy from the neighboring barrio of La Francia. She only knows the murderer’s strange nickname: « The Blue Lagoon ».
Walking alone and losing himself in the noisy and violent streets that once witnessed his transient moments of happiness, Fernando bumps into someone he at first mistakes for Alexis, as if the boy were still alive. Or as if the horror of life had induced a grotesque hallucination. The boy in question isWílmar. He resembles Alexis on more than one count: he’s the same age, wears a similar jacket, is just as devoted to Our Lady Help of Christians, whose scapularies - tied around his neck, right wrist and left ankle - he never doffs. But the most poignant similarity of all is the gun he always carries with him. So the series of murders Alexis had started continues with Wílmar, while Fernando begins a new love affair. It seems that the world of Medellín has gone insane, going around in circles and creating live replicas of the dead.

Presque rien (meaning Almost Nothing, which is also the UK release title; the U.S. title is Come Undone) is a 2000 French film directed by Sebastien Lifshitz, depicting a stormy romance between two 18-year-olds (One who is upper middle class and another who is working class) set in Brittany and what remains of that relationship eighteen months later. Mathieu (Jérémie Elkaďm), is spending his summer vacation at the sea before starting to attend college in the fall to become an architect. His mother is deeply depressed because of the death of his baby brother from cancer, and he and his snotty younger sister cannot get along.
Then he meets Cedric at the beach (Stéphane Rideau, also the object of gay desires in several films, including Les roseaux sauvages), who is attractive and obviously looking for a boyfriend.
After the first shy kisses and embraces, the two boys begin a steamy affair, and Lifshitz does not hesitate to show that with realism.
A parallel plotline focuses on Mathieu eighteen months later, as he is recovering from the shock of their separation. Mathieu having tried to commit suicide, his psychiatrist sends him back to the small seaside town to learn to deal with what happened. While Lifshitz does not explicitly say why their relationship failed, the impression is conveyed that their characters are simply too different.
The film ends on a hopeful note, when Mathieu meets Pierre (Nils Ohlund), another former boyfriend of Cedric’s, and finally gets the feeling he has found someone who understands him.

Short about a camping trip for scouts where a boy falls in love with his best friend and causes tension in the scouting group.
Campfire is basically a coming out story, but essentially it summarizes many itches of love and relations. Settings, sound, music are all economically used, but without being minimal and boring. Cinematography is brilliant, and so is acting. All in this is a short but not small, powerful but not cliché film. Simply beautiful.

"Juste une question d'amour" (Just a Question of Love), directed and cowritten by Christian Fauré (Un amour ŕ taire) aired on French television in 2000. It is a coming-out (as gay) story that focuses as much on the parents as on the young men who are in love with each other.
Parents sometimes surprise their gay and lesbian offspring by accepting them. But sometimes the children are right to fear the reactions of their parents. Laurent (Cyrille Thouvenin, "La confusion des genres") loves his parents(Daničlle Denie) and Pierre (Idwig Stéphane), who run a mom-and-pop pharmacy in Paris and is very afraid that they will reject him if they find that he is gay. This is unlikely to happen while he is having sex with men, but not in love with anyone. Moreover, he has the cover (a "beard") of a female room-mate (it seems that rather a lot of young gay men in recent French movies are living with straight women, but I vaguely remember that so was I between my long-term lovers). Laurent's parents dote on Carole (Caroline Veyt). Visions of grandchildren dance in their heads, though Carole is growing weary of having the name (Laurent's partner) without having the game.
Laurent does not have to guess about what will happen, because it pretty much already has happened—to a cousin with whom he was very close. Marc's parents (Laurent's mother's sister and her husband) cut off all communication with Marc, when they learned he was gay. Laurent's parents refused to take Marc in, and when Marc's parents heard that Marc was dying, they proclaimed that AIDS was a just punishment for him (though Marc was dying of acute hepatitis picked up in Vietnam rather than AIDS).
The status quo of Laurent and Carole pretending to be a couple has been destabilized by Laurent's failures (in agricultural school) since Marc's terminal illness. Laurent is dispatched to a field station near Lille in which Cédric (Stéphan Guérin-Tillié) is experimenting on developing vegetables resistant to (((ever-increasing) pollution. Cédric is an intense, bearded hunk. He and Laurent quickly fall into each other's arms.
Cédric took over the family business (a nursery along with the field station) when his father died, which Laurent's father finds exemplary (he is displeased that Laurent has not studied to become a pharmacist) and Laurent's mother likes the Cédric lives with his mother (Emma, played by Eva Darla (Une histoire simple). Emma realized she could accept that Cédric was gay or lose him—immediately after having lost her husband.
Cédric does not want to live the lie of just being Laurent's boss and participate in the Laurent/Jeanne charade. He pushes Laurent, though Emma tells him he should not expect Laurent to move faster than Cédric himself had. She is very maternal to Laurent. Laurent wishes that his mother was like Emma,,, but knows she is not.
Then the melodrama kicks in and most everyone is furious with everyone else (except Cédric and Carole, both of whom push Laurent to come out, and Marc's lover, who is sympathetic to everyone). I do not want to spoil what surprised me in detonating the explosions—which is to say that the trajectory is at least somewhat unpredictable even for someone who has heard and seen many coming-out stories. (I might note that neither Cédric nor Laurent has any connection to politicized gay identity: the message they articulate is "I love him and he loves me and we are going to be together.")
The cast is uniformly excellent, with Eva Darla particularly standing out. The cinematography, music, and editing are unobtrusively effective. Thouvenin and Guerin-Tillie have a palpable chemistry. They can be playful with each other, but both are passionate, not only in love, but in quarrels. (Both can also sulk, too.)
Unlike the other French coming-of-age movies I've seen in the last few years, there is no frontal male nudity (drat!), no bared female breasts, and no simulated coitus (there's kissing and post-coital bed scenes).
There are trailers for eight other French movies, but no bonus features about this one. The (widescreen) visual and audio transfers are excellent, the subtitles legible and devoid of peculiar grammmatical constructions.
Although not breaking new cinematic ground, I can't think of any way the story of these characters, none of whom is one-dimensional, could have been shown. What it is showing parents also seems very valuable, t, though those who most would most gain from watching it are the least likely to undertake a subtitled French tv movie with two young men in love with each other, neither of whom wants to lose his parents.

Watch Over Me is a short Israeli film about a gay solider, Eitan, who has just completed his final training in a secret army unit. He's given a night off and taken out by his mates from the unit, to be initiated by his comrades. The two others in his unit are egging him on to deal with a gay man who came into the bar while they were drinking. Hoping to protect the guy, Eitan seeks him out, but when they get to the beach and become passionate the new Eitan emerges. All the descriptions of the film are vague and only allude to the soliders being special.

Description:
Na primjer: - would you like to suck my dick? Čak i Justin. Lezbijski pad dobija još jednu bebu! (umjetna oplodnja) , a Linda koja glumi tatu oprobava kitu jednog slikara.
The last few days I haven't found any movie what be interesting for me. Perhaps due to the increased stress at work, I do not know exactly, but neither the sex I was not! Does this mean that I like to watch movies only if I'm in the mood for sex? I hope I'm not case for psihiatric hospitay yet! A good comedy or heartbreaking Spanish drama for me are welcome! It seems that I', in "woman" mood. I hope I'll be in "MAN" mood again. During research "something" on the net and even I do not know what it is, I found new links for Queer as Folk. As I looked at 1st,2nd,3rd and 5th seassons I decided watch 4th season.
The fourth seasson of Queer as Folk went as tubro folk. Vic, Debbie's brother, after short time spent with he's life partner died from the consequences of a heart attack. Policeman ask Debbie for marry. Michael and his partner Ben think how advice his adopted son who began to play with a girl, they have not experience with women. Brian has operated one ball because one sucker has found cancer! To avoid to be oneball man, doctors built him an artificial , which looks almost like natural. Of course no one has know for hes surgery. They thought he were tin Spain on islan Ibiza, Justin too.
Ted is going on teraphy group for drug rehabilitation. Emet has sex adventure with "str8 man"! He's "STR8" becouse sex with Emet is only for fun. Of course all these stories are told in this season with a lot of dilemmas and life situations for any gay, bi or Lesbian-oriented person. Do you need to mention that the sex of all sizes required in each episode?
One character what I "like" is str8 footballer, famous players, loved among women who sometimes fuck Emets ass only for the fun, becouse Hes str8. The character has a great body, great ass, strong legs, but the problem is that it can't say word with letter H (homo) or gay. And who would say that he can be a homosexual? He just fuck Emet, not make love! This character is in Queer as folk sdirectly from the Balkan. The only fault of the writer of this series is that he didn't know when "str8" man had first sex with other man and feel the magic of the male touch, in 99% he being in love, In 80% ,after some time like to be to be bottom, or do that only for "test", After breaking with first love, regularly continues to be seen in gay parks in the dark, after sex he escape in womans bed. Today is a regular visitor on DATE internet sites. Emet make one mistake. He went to the game to see hes favorite player is on the ground! As soon as they threaten the discretion in any way, all romance gonne. So this is the Balkans way , not different in any other country.

Description:
On jednostavno zna šta oće, a često uradi i ponešto što neče! Sjećate li se tih vremena, kada ste uvijek gladni seksa i ljubavi trčali od jednog do drugog lika? Najčešća i uobičajena tinejdđerska pojava. Svestan svog izgleda i privlačnosti vješto manipuliše ljudima oko sebe, sve dok nije nagazio na minu i to u jednom tržnom centru u wc-u.
Doors Cut Down (one of the shorts on Boys Briefs 2) is about the adventures of Guillermo, a gay high school slut boy, in the mens room of the Shopping Mall in his neighborhood. Under Today's Laws for Films For and By Abused Homos, Doors Cut Down would end with Guillermo either dying of AIDs or him being beaten to death in a violent gang gay bashing. Fortunately, Doors Cut Down wasn't made by an American Homo, Doors Cut Down ends with Guillermo alive, healthy and happy roller blading through his neighborhood.
Doors Cut Down is one of the few GAY FILMS I've seen that presents a young gay guy as happy and having fun being gay. Guillermo is clearly a slut and a tad irresponsible, however, what young guy, gay or straight, isn't a slut and a tad irresponsible.
There is something very familiar looking about the actor who plays Guillermo, Israel Rodriguez. Israel appears to have done a lot of acting work.
There is a scene in the movie that reminds me of something one of the Bel Ami directors said about making gay adult movies, the directors said that Gay Guys are always harder to work with.
When Guillermo narrates how he picks up men, he says that the Gay Guys are always more difficult. There is a scene of Guillermo and an older Gay Guy and the guy is going on and on about how he doesn't hang out in mens rooms and about how he is looking for a relationship, this scene takes place in a stall in the mens room. Obviously, the Gay Guy comes off looking a tad silly saying that he is looking for a relationship when he is in a toilet stall with a high school kid.
The actor who plays Guillermo is very good, he has a perfect way of conveying being on the prowl without it looking sinister. There is a shot of Guillermo kissing his older boyfriend while simultaneously eying another guy to have sex with that is just too cute for words.

Taman sam počeo da uživam u pušenju, a on me prekine i reče: Ovo ćemo nastaviti neki drugi put!
POnekad i nad tuđim!

With his third feature, after "Sitcom" (1998) and "Criminal Lovers" (1999), Francois Ozon enters fascinating territory. This adaptation of a play written by German auteur Rainer Werner Fassbinder when he was 19 years old, never performed in his lifetime and never filmed till now, represents a haunting return to the themes and concerns of one of the most influential film and theater directors of the '70s. Specialized theatrical distribution is likely for this perverse study in sexual game-playing, with plenty of ancillary action as well.
Fassbinder fans will especially be delighted with Ozon's tribute to the director (who died in 1982); "Water Drops on Burning Rocks" is directed much like a middle-period Fassbinder film, with the action confined to the apartment of the central character (not a single exterior shot) and the camera unblinkingly recording the action head-on. The deadpan humor, also typical of Fassbinder, has been faithfully reproduced here, the only minor incongruity being the casting of French actors as these quintessential German characters.
The scene-setting opening credits are printed over delightfully cheesy, garishly colored picture postcard images of German cities in the early '70s. Ozon has kept to a theatrical structure, dividing the film into four acts, the first of which begins with the arrival of Leopold (Bernard Giraudeau), a 50-ish insurance salesman, and his pickup, 20-year-old Franz (Malick Zidi) at Leopold's apartment. Franz, who is naive but not that naive, was on his way to meet his fiancee, Anna, when he allowed himself to be picked up by the older man. The getting-to-know-you scene that follows is beautifully written and acted, and ends with Leopold instructing the young man to disrobe and wait for him in the bedroom.
Act two takes up the story six months later, with Franz now completely at home in his lover's apartment, where he's lived ever since their meeting. But the sensitive young man, who is interested in literature and other arts, is increasingly at odds with the mercurial, demanding Leopold, who goes away on long trips and, upon return, is often irritable to the point of being impossible. Still, the relationship endures, at least for the time being.
In act three, the abandoned Anna (Ludivine Sagnier) shows up while Leopold is away; beautiful, assertive and determined, she soon has Franz in bed with her and is delighted to experience the new techniques he's learned from Leopold. When Leopold returns unexpectedly, and then Vera (Anna Thompson), Leopold's transsexual ex-lover, also turns up, the stage is set for some complex power-shifting and sexual game-playing --- all of which is amusing for a while but which concludes tragically.
One of the most fascinating elements here is the teenage Fassbinder's astuteness about sexual one-upmanship and the shifting of power from one partner to another. One may speculate why the play was never performed during his lifetime; perhaps the character of Franz was too close to that of the author.
It goes without saying that the material wouldn't work without a strong cast, and here Ozon's casting comes up trumps. Giraudeau is perfect as the jaded, urbane, fatally charming Leopold, while Zidi, in only his second film, conveys both the innocence and the tenacity of young Franz with considerable assurance. Another relative newcomer, Sagnier is a knockout as the beautiful, seemingly innocent Anna, who learns a powerful lesson about the importance of good sex. In an off-the-wall but successful piece of casting, Yank Thompson provides a strong presence in the strange role of Vera, who is the focus of attention at pic's climax.
Ozon's direction respects the theatrical nature of the piece but is sufficiently cinematic to lift the film from its stage origins. A highlight in the mostly funny fourth act is a scene in which all four protagonists suddenly launch into an impromptu dance ensemble. Technical credits are all first-rate.
