Kao nesavršeni i nedovršeni transeksualac mašta o tome kako će jednog dana otići na operaciju poslije koje će imati najljepšu pičku na svjetu. Marieta živi sa cimerom, kepevom Tomasom koji se na sebi svojstven način trudi da njen tesko zarađeni novac olako potroši.
Jednog dana dok je kupovala neko povrće una pijace padne u nesvjest preko nekih gajba jagoda i u tom trenutku je ugleda zgodni i prezgodni Raul koji je nosio gajbe paprika iz Leskovca na prodaju. Kada je ugledao Marietu trenutno se zaljubio.
Marieta je oduševljena jer se u nju zaljubio savršeni muškarac koji ima veliki kurac i dupe kao breskva. Na žalost njena sreća je kratko trajala jer Raul je iznad svega volio njenih 20 cm u njegovu breskvastu guzu! Pički tu nije bilo mjesta!
U stilu Pedra Almadovara ova muzička komedija će Vas sigurno nasmijati do suza, a i za one koje vole 20 cm ili više neće biti mrskih scena.
Da li ste čuli za izraz "Size Queen"? Termin podrazumjeva one pedere koji su opsjednuti velikim kurcem. Manje je bitno ko ga nosi, da li glup ili pametan, bitna je veličina koja tako dobro boli dok vam raza bulju. :)

Film me je podsjetio na jednog prijatelja sa kojim se savršeno slažem. Po cjelu noć pričamo o raznim temama, o seksu, o muškarcima, o politici, o umjetnsti, o filmovima,o ljubavi, avanturama.... Zaista je sjajan momak i šteta što mi ne živi u mom gradu, treba mi neko kao on.
On je Aktivan, ja pasivan, on voli mlađe, ja  starije i to su jedine razlike između nas!
Sve ostalo volimo isto, a ponajviše muškarce sa velikom kitom!

Size plays a major role in “20 Centimeters "a brash, vivacious concoction of dark comedy, light drama and musical performance written and directed by Ramón Salazar. For starters, the title refers to the length of its main character’s penis, nearly eight inches. Marieta, né Adolfo, a pre-op transsexual narcoleptic (convincingly played by Mónica Cervera), wants those inches to vanish, and nothing can come between her and the surgery that will make it happen, not even a hunky fruit-stocker who likes her as is.

(The bit inspired by Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” video is particularly amusing.)
But because so much screen time is spent in fantasyland, the film’s reality-based story lines, which focus on the sometimes bleak, even tragic, elements of Marieta’s everyday life — her conflicted sexuality, prostitution work and complex relationships with her roommate (a dwarf) and a neighbor’s young son — end up serving mainly as springboards for the high-energy set pieces.

MyPhoto-080517-05Jeste li kada doživjeli da se neko toliko jako zaljubi u vas da to počne da vas guši. Opsjednut vama, lik kojeg volite počne da vam smeta i ne možete više da normalno funkcionišete.
Ja sam to doživio dva puta. U jednom slučaju nisam znao više na koju stranu da gledan. Idemo ulicom , a on mi prebacuje: “Vidio sam kako ga gledaš, ti bi da možeš sutra bio sa njim. ”
Jezivo, kada primjetite da se neko tako ludački ponaša, moja preporuka je da bježite glavom bez obzira inače će vam se život pretvoriti u pakao!



MyPhoto-080517-20Pedro Almodóvar , jedan od najboljih Evropskih režisera i ovim filmom me je ostavio bez daha. Drama koji sam odgledao bez da palim cigaretu!
O samom filmu neći mnogo pisati, ko poznaje Almodovarove filmove zna koliko je doživljaj njegovih filmova intimna stvar. Sto ljudi će ih doživjeti na sto načina i svako će u nekom dijelu naći sebe!
Glavnu ulogu u ovom filmu igra fantastični Antonio Banderas, koji tako dobro glumi opsjednutog pedera da na trenutak pomislite kako je i u stvarnom životu ovejana pederčina.
Zanimljiva je scena gdje ga jedan lik jebe u krevetu, a najupečatljivija mi je poslednja scena ovog remek djela.

The first movie that came out from El Deseo was the aptly named Law of Desire (La Ley del Deseo). The film has an operatically tragic plot line and is one of Almodóvar’s richest and most disturbing movies. The narrative follows three main characters: a gay film director who embarks on a new project; his sister, an actress who used to be his brother (played by Carmen Maura), and a repressed murderously obsessive stalker (played by Antonio Banderas).

These characters are neither coming out nor confront sexual guilt or homophobia; they are already liberated, like the homosexuals in Fassbinder’s films. Almodóvar said about Law of Desire : ” It’s the key film in my life and career. It deals with my vision of desire, something that’s both very hard and very human. By this I mean the absolute necessity of being desired and the fact that in the interplay of desires it’s rare that two desires meet and correspond”

Almodóvar’s films rely heavily on the capacity of his actors to pull through difficult roles into a complex narrative. In Law of Desire Carmen Maura plays the role of Tina, a woman who used to be a man. Almodóvar explains: “Carmen is required to imitate a woman, to savour the imitation, to be conscious of the kitsch part that there is in the imitation, completely renouncing parody, but not humour”.
Elements from Law of Desire grew into the basis for two later films: Carmen Maura appears in a stage production of Cocteau’s The Human Voice, which inspired Almodóvar’s next film, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown; and Tina’s confrontation scene with an abusive priest formed a partial genesis for Bad Education.

WreckedRyan (Forth Richards, I think, since much of the cast may be working under pseudonym) is a young wannabe actor. He has landed his first part in a play, but his happiness is short-lived as former boyfriend Daniel (Benji Crisnis, I think) shows up. Daniel is a drug addict, but Ryan takes him in (again) anyway, hoping to change him since he won't change himself. Daniel immediately goes back to his old habits, including introducing Taylor (no idea who played him) into the relationship. Ryan's life begins to spiral downward, and the film ends with a scene you could predict before you even popped the disc in the DVD player.
The three leads get nude, often. The Shumanski brothers wallow in Ryan's filthy world; you can almost smell the stale cigarette butts and warm wine in his squalid little house. However, the Shumanskis let their willing cast down. Some of the scenes are obviously improvised, and watching the young cast try to smoke and talk like adults before shedding their underwear is embarrassing to sit through. I began to mistake Ryan's constant naivete for mild mental retardation as Daniel goes through his drug addict and casual sex routine and elicits only tsk-ing and rolled eyes. The direction is sloppy (you can spot a cameraman in a mirror in one scene, and dates on cell phones never jibe), the editing is fair, and the music makes no impression whatsoever. The Shumanskis pad the film with unnecessary shots of the dudes waking up, getting their bearings, and dressing.

Richards plays Ryan like a drag queen channeling Bette Davis. He smokes too much, and swirls his hands, but shows no real emotion beyond mild contempt. I didn't care about him at all. Ryan demands Daniel get a job, yet we never see what Ryan does for a living. Crisnis is bland, never offering any reason why Ryan would fall for Daniel over and over again, despite getting hurt every time.
The only scenes that almost work are Ryan's play rehearsals. The play, as presented to the viewer, is a disaster. The director obviously wants to take Ryan to bed, his chain smoking assistant hates the world, and one of his co-stars is one of those Brando wannabes who must stretch and do annoying preparation for this piece of garbage he is "starring" in. Trust me, I have a theater background, and a lot of this is dead-on. Plus, these scenes provide a break from all the cocaine snorting and gay sex.
"Wrecked" joins the sad list of sexually explicit films that fail because of the script and direction, and not the sex. Move over, "9 Songs," "Shortbus," and almost everything Larry Clark has ever done, "Wrecked" and its truth-in-advertising title is here.

U nekoliko arapskih zemalja u kojima sam boravio sam primjetio da se muškarci drže za ruku dok hodaju ulicama. Bilo mi je čudno kako tako javno pokazuju privrženost. Privrženost da, ali na njihov način. Kada se dva druga drže za ruku , ne znači da su i pederi. Oni su naprosto prijatelji.
Inače arapi za sebe vole da kažu da su macho jebači. Kod njih nije sramota ako imaš sex sa muškarcem, al pod uslovom da si ti taj koji jebe. Ako dopustiš da budeš pojeban to je već sramota.
Iz ovog polu dokumentarnog filma možete otkriti ponešto o pederizmu u arapskom svjetu.
Karim, student sociologije živi u prijestonici arapa - u Parizu sa djevojkom Sihem.
Nakon jedne emisije o pederima u Egiptu, Karim odluči da snimi istraživački dokumentarac o pederizmu medju arapima.


I tako ide od jednog do drugog pedera, intervjuiše ih, bilježi njihove nesuvisle pederske priče, snima sve o njihom načinu života.
Sve dok ne upozna stjuarta Ferida, kada počinje da mjenja mišljenje o ljubavi medju muškarcima.
Sa njim odlazi u Maroko, gdje nastavlja sa snimanjima. Zapanjujuća je priča o pederima medju arapima. Jedan šeik je po nekim pričama imao harem muškaraca. (Nadam se da ih nije kastrirao!)
Trebam li vam reći da je Karim na kraju dobio prsten od Ferida?
Poučan film , koji će vam razbitii predrasude o arapima! ( ukoliko ih imate!)
The story of an Arab student in Paris who discovers his homosexuality while working on a video project for his sociology class, Rémi Lange's ''Road to Love'' doesn't add much to the coming-out genre, as it has been established in countless Sundance competition films and made-for-television movies.
The student, Karim (Karim Tarek), is living in a seventh-floor walk-up with his doting girlfriend, Sihem (Sihem Benamoune), when he decides to make a documentary about homosexuality in the Arab world for his class at the Sorbonne. (Term papers, it seems, are a thing of the past.)
He tries to track down some gay Muslim men to interview, first by hanging around in front of a gay tea shop, then by placing an advertisement in a newspaper. All of Karim's respondents make advances toward him, provoked by his willowy frame and large, expressive eyes, which Sihem likens to the great, yearning orbs of Vermeer's ''Girl With a Pearl Earring.''

Karim is disturbed at first, but before long he begins to feel flattered by all the attention. He strikes up a friendship with Farid (Riyad Echahi), a serious young flight attendant who puts him in touch with gay Muslims in Paris and elsewhere, all the while incubating his own crush on Karim. As Karim spends more and more time with Farid, Sihem starts getting anxious, as well she might.
It's clear where ''The Road to Love'' is headed after its first few minutes, and the feature, crudely shot with what seems to be an amateur video camera, has few stylistic compensations. But some interesting reporting enters on the edges of the familiar story line, as Karim uncovers the complicated and often contradictory attitudes toward homosexuality in Islam.

Homosexual relationships, he finds, are tolerated in many Muslim cultures as an outlet for pent-up desires that must otherwise wait until marriage. There was even one relatively modern culture, centered in the Siwa oasis in Egypt, where marriage ceremonies between men were performed, though those marriages dissolved when the time for grown-up, reproductive coupling arrived. Only passive homosexuality, Farid explains to Karim, is considered truly shameful. Sex, in other words, is power, in which a sense of domination counts for everything -- not, alas, a notion exclusive to the Arab world.
But as much as you would like to linger beneath the shady palms of Siwa, the film eventually returns to its well-worn dramatics. ''Maybe,'' Karim says of his documentary project, ''I chose it unconsciously to reveal my preference for men.''
Under the circumstances, -- Karim is flying off to Marrakesh with Farid for a romantic weekend -- that does look like a distinct possibility.

Obično počnu sa pričama kako na te sajtove idu isključivo radi radoznalosti ili kao "Da vidim šta tamo ima" Neki se pravdaju kao da su na te sajtove sasvim slučajno došli. Naravno većina njih ima najmanje dva naloga na MSN ili Yahoo messengeru!

Sa većinom od njih nakon malo priče možete jedino očekivati po koju partiju seksa i to je to! Teško da će te ih upoznati onako kao što bi ste upoznali nekoga sa kim slučajno započnete razgovor u autobusu ili vozu!
Skoro nimalo detalja iz njihovih života nećete saznati, posebno ako se pojebete sa strancem koga ste upoznali preko interneta! Ipak sa nekima od njih sam uspio uspostaviti kontakt koji je nesto malo više od standardne šeme "Dođi, vidi me, pojebi me, otiđi" U iskrenom razgovoru sa njima ipak dođete do toga da se ne razlikuju mnogo više od većine vas koji ovo čitate, uključujući i mene! Kad nam se napune jaja i uhvati nas ludački nagon za seksom, mnogi od nas će u lijenosti otići na net , naći nekog sa web kamerom i izdrkati ga! I šta je tu strašno? Po meni ništa, al se većina pedera stidi toga!

Neki drugi , koji nemaju naviku za net dateingom idu u porno bioskope, mračne parkove ili javne WC-e tražeći prigodnu kitu ili neko zavodljivo dupe za jebanje u nekom ćošku nakon čega će glavom bez obzira pobjeći u sigurnost doma svoga.
Al većina kada ih pitate da li su sve to iskusili odgovoriće vam kako je to odvratno i da to nikada ne bi uradili. Uostalom šta se to vas tiče?


To je neka dvoličnost kod pedera koja se ispoljava u dva suprotna prohtjeva. Jedan je da želimo nekoga sa kim možemo uspostaviti odnos povjerenja i emocionalne povezanosti, a drugi da se unatoč tome pretvorimo u životinju koja uživa u ogavnim stvarima kao što je seks sa nepoznatima, u trojci, četvorci, grupni seks itd
Jednom sam se upoznao sa jednim likom, oženjen, pomalo zbunjen, dobrog izgleda i naizgled sigurnog u sebe. Šta da vam pričam, lik redovno ide u crkvu, voli da priča o moralu i poželjnim normama ponašanja i sličnim stvarima! Nakon poprilično dugog druženja upadnemo u situaciju u kojoj je seks bio neizbježan. Naravno ja sam ga iscenirao kod mene doma. I usred jebanja počeo je da viče:" Jebi me, rasturi mi pičku, razvali me ko poslednju drolju...." Bio sam zaista iznenadjen, al sam ga izjebao baš onako kako je želio!

Nakon toga ponašao se kao da se ništa desilo nije! Meni sve to naravno nije smetalo jer sebe poznajem dovoljno dobro i znam šta želim i očekujem.
Jednom prilikom usred seksa u stan mi upadne prijatelj sa kojim sam na sreću već ranije bio. Lik nas zatekne kako se jebemo, ja nagužen preko kreveta u dnevnoj sobi a ovaj moj divlja li divlja i naravno opet pun priča tipa " Voliš li moj kurac kurvo..?!" Moj prijatelj mrtav ladan sjedne na fotelju i kaže samo se vi izjebite, taman dok ja popušim cigar.

Naravno da smo se izjebali i na kraju i mi zapalili cigar. Uz priču moj jebač kaže nešto ovako: " Znaš , ja ranije nisam sebe prihvatao onakvim kakav jesam sve dok nisam sreo njega ( misli na mene). Shvatio sam da zaista uživam u nenormalnim stvarima kao što je seks sa muškarcima" Opet sam ostao zaprepašten! Šta je tu nenormalno i nemoralno?
Uglavnom ovaj film me je podsjetio na sve to! Prepun je seksa , a radi se o romansi dva lika od koih je jedan neumorni lovac na žrtve radi seksa, a drugi nepopravljivi romantik. U ostalom zar nismo svi i jedno i drugo?!

Baš je teško kad izgubiš nekoga koga jako voliš. Ne znam kako vi ali ja potpuno prolupam i treba mi dosta vremena da se oporavim nakon toga. Jednom sam čak išao i kod psihijatra! Prije 4 godine. Strahota! Teška lekcija, a naučih da da se pripazim kada su emocije u pitanju! Ne valja baš sve slijepo vjerovati, a kada smo kod povjerenja onda unaprijed tražite samo ono što i sami možete pružiti! Bez laganja samoga sebe i drugoga!
No da ja sada ođe ne glumatam psihijatra za one koji su izgubili voljenog bolje da se vratim malo na ovaj film.



Jeff, 30-togodišnji peder izgubi partnera Marka u saobraćajnoj nesreći. Onako jadan i tužan otkrije da se Mark dopisivao sa jednim italijanskim web dizajnerom Andreom i pošalje mu mail u kojem mu objasni da Marka više nema. Nakon dva tri razmjenjena maila Jeff odluci da pozove Andrea u posjetu i tako obadvojica zadovolje svoju znatiželju.
I nakon nekog vremena Andrea sjeda u avion pa pravac u USA. Tako se upoznaje sa Jeffom, pričaju o Marku i otkrivaju nepoznate detalje o njemu. Film presporo teče. Ko neki usporeni snimak, bezbroj bespotrebnih detalja koji traju toliko da gledaoc naprosto može da zaspe. Na primjer prikaz Jeffove nesanice, vti se po krevetu, ustaje, seta pa opet liježe i dok se sve to izvrti na filmu ja sam zaspao i film nastavio da gledam ujutro!
Inače obadvojica su zgodni muškarci , nimalo feminizirani i kad bi ih sreo najradije bi obadvojicu strpao u krevet. Nadam se da nisu tako usporeni ko na filmu.
Neznam šta da vam kažem još o filu a da ne ispričam cjelu priču. Nije vrijedan bilo kakve hvale, naprosto ako se ubijate od dosade i želite nešto da vas uspava pustite ovaj film u DVD player. Uspavaće vas sigurno.

A contemplative grace note in NewFest's raucous chorus of self-affirmation, this muted two-hander traces a three-day mourning interlude linking a dead man's lifelong platonic pal to the deceased's Italian lover-in-waiting. Helmer Yen Tan ("Happy Birthday") relies on the contrasting thesping styles of the two leads and a cool, minimalist aesthetic (fixed camera placements within emptying frames) to flesh out his mood piece's slender plot. As full of sexual tension as it is devoid of sexual activity, "Ciao" qualifies as a quietly charged change of pace for the gay fest circuit.

After the sudden death of his best friend Mark, it falls to Jeff (Adam Neal Smith) to put his affairs in order. Discovering that Mark had been conducting an extended, intimate email relationship with a Web designer named Andrea (Alessandro Calza) who was about to come to Dallas, Texas, to meet Mark for the first time, Jeff writes to inform Andrea of Mark's demise and head him off at the pass. Upon reflection, however, he invites Andrea to come to Dallas anyway.


Linked by death, the two men explore previously unknown aspects of Mark previously and, gradually, the strength of their mutual attraction to Mark shifts gears, going beyond concern about the departed middleman to focus directly on their own revved-up (if funereally tinged) chemistry.

Helmer/co-scripter Tan conceives of his two characters as complementing each other within a minor key. Thus, Jeff, an investment banker, reads as a composed, almost emotionally shut-down chap, whether by nature or in reaction to Mark's death or by some combination of both never quite made clear. Indeed, Tan pairs Jeff with female confidante Lauren (Ethel Lung) in certain scenes so he can elucidate his otherwise unspoken feelings.

Andrea, being Italian, necessarily comes off as more expansive (it would be difficult to appear less), albeit in a gentle, comforting way that's at odds with his blatant sexiness: He infuses every situation with a serene acceptance that always seems poised to turn into something far more sensual. Thesping successfully conveys more through silences than through dialogue, though Calza, who co-scripted, phrases his English lines with seductive sensitivity.

Tech credits are above average. Clare Floyd DeVries' subdued production design matches Jeff's quasi-sterile orderliness, while leaving plenty of room for the sexual promise quivering in the air.

Ja volim jednog, taj me nece, drugi voli prvog, prvi voli treceg, treci voli drugog... i tako u nedogled. Svi izgleda vole pogrešnu osobu, niko nikog nece , a medusobno se svi pojebaše!
Tako je to na filmu, al cini mi se i u stvarnosti. Jednom sam upao u neko gay društvo u beogradu. To mi je bio prvi susret sa pederima koji se medusobno druže. Do tada sam uvjek nekako imao jednog muškarca pored sebe i curu! Al se nikada nisam susretao sa pravim pederskim društvom. I naivčina kakav sam bio, ja sve govorio istinu, od onog šta osjecam, šta želim , kako razmišljam itd A pederi namirisali novo meso pa sve oko mene, jedni druge ogovaraju , te ovaj je kurva, ovaj onakav, onaj ovakav....
U čudu se nadjoh, pa što se onda druže kada tako ružno jedni o drugima misle?! Kada neko gleda sa strane reko bi da je upao u skup ljudi gdje niko nikoga ne voli! A istina je da su se svi medjusobno kad tad pojebali. Na kraju kada su vidjeli da previše biram i da nikoga neću iz tog društva proglasiše me droljom koja se jebe po Adi Ciganliji u žbunju! He kada sam to čuo otrčao sam odmah u to nesretno žbunje da vidim šta se to tamo dešava! Al to je već druga priča.
Ovaj film me podsjetio na to! Svi nailaze na pogrešne osobe , al niko nekoga ne propušta! Bar po neki put da se pojebu pa da nastave potragu za nečim, a neznaju ni sami šta traže. Vikend sex sa nepoznatima je obavezna stvar! Valjda će preko kurca shvatiti ko je kakva osoba!
Pravi pederski film u režiji Yair Hochnera predstavlja nastavak Israelske gay produkcije!

Although "Antarctica" is far racier, less slapstick and of course not a television show, I couldn't stop thinking about "Friends" while watching the Israeli coming-of-age comedy. It has all the same elements: an outrageously attractive cast, somewhat wooden acting and a revolving bedroom door. The city of Tel Aviv seems to have shrunk to a population of around 10 people, with one street, one shop, one coin laundry, one library and, of course, the coffee shop.

"Antarctica" produces some nice moments between characters, but the artificial setup makes for many awkward, hollow interactions. What the film does have going for it are frequent and passionate sex scenes. These encounters have an honesty that the movie lacks - they do more for character development than the dialogue does.

The film opens with a series of split-screen encounters between one man (Boaz, played by Ofer Regirer) and a series of other men - shy dancer Danny (Yiftach Mizrahi), sexy journalist Ronen (Guy Zo-Aretz), comic relief character Miki (Yuval Raz), the eminently forgettable Eiten (Oshri Sahar) and the nerdy Omer (Tomer Ilan), who turns out to be the protagonist of the film.

The opening sets a brisk, if confusing, pace. Clearly, hook-up culture is as prevalent in Israel as it is in the United States. Names are seldom exchanged - hence the running joke about the slutty Boaz continuing to forget his encounters with Eiten until they meet again, in bed.

From that montage beginning, a title card announces that the main action takes place three years later. Omer, a good-looking gay librarian who is about to turn 30 (maybe the Courtney Cox/Monica character?) is clearly hungry for love. He goes on a blind date with the younger Danny (last seen shagging the much-older Boaz), which leaves both men feeling "eh." Meanwhile, Miki takes his Internet interactions offline with Ronan, who, most improbably for a journalist in this century, makes eyes at Omer at the library where he does research. He also, it must be said, looks much more like an underwear model than a reporter.

Omer's cute, lesbian kid sister, Shirley (Lucy Dubinchik), has some romantic troubles of her own - she was engaged to be married but longs to travel the world before settling down. At least, that's what she tells the older lesbian owner of the coffee shop, Michal (Liat Akta), whose over-the-top sexual innuendo toward Shirley seems more like workplace harassment than charming banter.

Like "Friends," these characters only seem to interact with each other. Perched on his stool at the library, the perpetually frowning Omer waits for friends to drop by. Ronan interviews a wacky author at Shirley's coffee shop and then later goes on a date with Miki there. Boaz, perhaps the least fleshed out character of the lot, runs into Danny, with whom he had a hot monthlong fling three years before, in a dance studio and pines for him (while continuing to sleep with many others.) And so on and so forth.

Part of the movie's problem is its length. At almost two hours, the inevitable plot machinations grind slowly. Ronen and Omer finally hang out but are stopped by Miki's fling with Ronen. The coffee shop's open-mike nights provide music for the soundtrack - a particularly alarming choice by the filmmakers - which is supposed to underline the characters' emotions. But the locale doesn't offer any insight into the characters. The film could have been shot on a soundstage in Los Angeles as easily as the streets of Tel Aviv.

Still, "Friends" was a hit for a reason: It's fun to see attractive people get together and fall apart. "Antarctica" offers the same soap-opera-like rewards to the audience. It was refreshing, too, to see the entirely queer world of the film presented so straightforwardly (no pun intended). However, romantic comedies in general are hard to pull off, and although "Antarctica" doesn't succeed as a love story, it manages a few hot nights along the way.

Žao mi je što za ovaj film ne mogu da nadjem titl na engleskom jeziku! Bilo bi dobro da čitaoci ovog bloga koji nisu sa prostora bivše Jugoslavije mogu da ga pogledaju, mada nisam siguran koliko bi bili u stanju da shvate balkanski mentalitet 90-tih godina pošto ga nija dobro ne razumijem!
Dno dna pederskog dijela Beograda, ograničen ratnim pustošenjem, izgledao je baš kao na ovom filmu. Tada ni tanvestiti bisu bili lijepi!
Međutim i pored svega toga ovaj film ima dušu. U svom jadu i bijedi Merlynka nam pokazuje da možemo zadržati "ono malo duše" bez obzira šta nas snašlo u životu. Radeći kao prostitutka na Beogradskim ulicama , spašava poštene žene i djevojke od isfrustriranih nasilnika i zarađuje za život , sanjajući o bogastvu i sjaju koji je vidjela samo u Hollywoodskim filmovima je uobičajen profil prostitutki koji nije zaobišao ni Merlynku. Živeći sa Sanelom, prijateljicom i koleginicom na marginama društva pokušava da opstane i ostane Dama u zemlji čuda u kojoj je jedino čudo preživjeti i dočekati sutrašnji dan!
S druge strane zgodan, lijep al poremećeni nasilnik i ubica Johny sanja o novcu koji će zaraditi prevarom i nožem. Psihički izopačen , povratnik sa ratišta, ogrezao u krvi jedino seksualno zadovoljstvo može da postigne sa ženom koja ga onako sirovog može potčiniti. Nenad Racković ga je odlično odglumio. Šteta što ima mali kurac inače bi bio pravi frajer! Završava život onako kako ga je i živio, po zakonu nasilja i noža. Njegov profil je prilično čest na prostorima EX YU, a prepoznaćete ga u liku koji bi vam za rođendan poklonio neki dobar nož ili utoku, a tokom seksa tražio da ga izjebete do srži, davite , udarate i ponižavate. Ako niste dovoljno jaki za to postaćete njegova žrtva!


Merlynku i Sanelu u filmu igraju prostitutke koje su za film pokupljene sa ulice. Tako da im je gluma u ovom filmu predstavljala kopiju njihovih stvarnih života u kojima su obadvije nastradale nekoliko godina nakon premijere ovog filma!

Merlynka je ostala upamćena po izjavi:

"Evo ja radim u ul. Gavrila Principa. Šta je on doneo Srbima? Rat, glad, nevolje...
A ja? Ja sam hiljade i hiljade Srba usrećila - ova ulica treba da se zove po meni!"

This film about drag queens in Beograd won a special Teddy prize at the Berlin festival in 1995. The heroines are 2 transvestite prostitutes, and they're much more together than their old boyfriend Johnny who returns from the war and screws everything up. Imagine a politicized Priscilla.

The aging (37) Merlin (Marylin? -- she's blonde) teaches Sanela everything she knows. Sanela "marries" a body-builder, Johnny ends up dead. There's also a wonderful scene in which Merlin tries to teach a "real" woman how to turn tricks.


Merlyn has been pacifying the Balkans, turning tricks with countless, more or less Serbian guys every year. Merlyn is a lighting rod sheltering Belgrade, calming violent nighthawks, swanky big spenders, miserable loners and horny young studs, taking on the charge that would otherwise befall little girls, unprotected mothers and helpless old women. Combined with guns, this unbridled energy would eventually lead to bloodshed. Acting as a mighty Djerdap dam and the Wailing Wall at the same time, Merlyn cools the boiling blood of violent Dinarides and enriches it with love. Johnny comes home to Belgrade, from the war. His motives are apparently similar, he also wants to cool the boiling blod, but he does it by letting it through the holes in the human body, which he makes with bullets or knives. This film is a treatise on the different methods of resolving conflicts, resorted to by Marlyn and Johnny.
