U nekoliko arapskih zemalja u kojima sam boravio sam primjetio da se muškarci drže za ruku dok hodaju ulicama. Bilo mi je čudno kako tako javno pokazuju privrženost. Privrženost da, ali na njihov način. Kada se dva druga drže za ruku , ne znači da su i pederi. Oni su naprosto prijatelji.
Inače arapi za sebe vole da kažu da su macho jebači. Kod njih nije sramota ako imaš sex sa muškarcem, al pod uslovom da si ti taj koji jebe. Ako dopustiš da budeš pojeban to je već sramota.

Iz ovog polu dokumentarnog filma možete otkriti ponešto o pederizmu u arapskom svjetu.
Karim, student sociologije živi u prijestonici arapa - u Parizu sa djevojkom Sihem.
Nakon jedne emisije o pederima u Egiptu, Karim odluči da snimi istraživački dokumentarac o pederizmu medju arapima.

I tako ide od jednog do drugog pedera, intervjuiše ih, bilježi njihove nesuvisle pederske priče, snima sve o njihom načinu života.

Sve dok ne upozna stjuarta Ferida, kada počinje da mjenja mišljenje o ljubavi medju muškarcima.
Sa njim odlazi u Maroko, gdje nastavlja sa snimanjima. Zapanjujuća je priča o pederima medju arapima. Jedan šeik je po nekim pričama imao harem muškaraca. (Nadam se da ih nije kastrirao!)
Trebam li vam reći da je Karim na kraju dobio prsten od Ferida?

The story of an Arab student in Paris who discovers his homosexuality while working on a video project for his sociology class, Rémi Lange's ''Road to Love'' doesn't add much to the coming-out genre, as it has been established in countless Sundance competition films and made-for-television movies.
The student, Karim (Karim Tarek), is living in a seventh-floor walk-up with his doting girlfriend, Sihem (Sihem Benamoune), when he decides to make a documentary about homosexuality in the Arab world for his class at the Sorbonne. (Term papers, it seems, are a thing of the past.)
He tries to track down some gay Muslim men to interview, first by hanging around in front of a gay tea shop, then by placing an advertisement in a newspaper. All of Karim's respondents make advances toward him, provoked by his willowy frame and large, expressive eyes, which Sihem likens to the great, yearning orbs of Vermeer's ''Girl With a Pearl Earring.''

Karim is disturbed at first, but before long he begins to feel flattered by all the attention. He strikes up a friendship with Farid (Riyad Echahi), a serious young flight attendant who puts him in touch with gay Muslims in Paris and elsewhere, all the while incubating his own crush on Karim. As Karim spends more and more time with Farid, Sihem starts getting anxious, as well she might.

It's clear where ''The Road to Love'' is headed after its first few minutes, and the feature, crudely shot with what seems to be an amateur video camera, has few stylistic compensations. But some interesting reporting enters on the edges of the familiar story line, as Karim uncovers the complicated and often contradictory attitudes toward homosexuality in Islam.

Homosexual relationships, he finds, are tolerated in many Muslim cultures as an outlet for pent-up desires that must otherwise wait until marriage. There was even one relatively modern culture, centered in the Siwa oasis in Egypt, where marriage ceremonies between men were performed, though those marriages dissolved when the time for grown-up, reproductive coupling arrived. Only passive homosexuality, Farid explains to Karim, is considered truly shameful. Sex, in other words, is power, in which a sense of domination counts for everything -- not, alas, a notion exclusive to the Arab world.
But as much as you would like to linger beneath the shady palms of Siwa, the film eventually returns to its well-worn dramatics. ''Maybe,'' Karim says of his documentary project, ''I chose it unconsciously to reveal my preference for men.''
Under the circumstances, -- Karim is flying off to Marrakesh with Farid for a romantic weekend -- that does look like a distinct possibility.

Ljetos mi je jedan prijatelj poslao link za ovaj film, sacuvao sam mail i tek nedavno skinuh taj film da ga pogledam.
Želimir žilnik je na ovom blogu već predstavljen filmom Dupe od mramora (1995)
Film prati životnu priču Kenedi Hasanija, lika koji je deportovan iz Njemačke natrag u Srbiju! I sada pola filma ide na NJemačkom , trećina na srpskom i trećina na valjda romskom jeziku!
Kenedi se muva po gradilištima i pokušava da zaradi koju paru kako bi isplatio dug koji je napravio da bi napravio kuću. Al ko još dobro plaća cigane. zato se povremeno bavi i prostitucijom, jebe vremešne dame i očajnike pedere! Ono što je ovaj film svrstalo na ovaj blog je nešto što bih ja nazvao "ciganska biseksualnost" , nešto što je svojstveno mnogim "ciganima" sa balkana i ako smijem primjetiti u mnogim mediteranskim zemljama. Seks sa muškacima se ne smatra pederlukom ako:
- ti puše kurac , a ti ne radiš to
- ako to radiš za pare i pri tome si aktivan
- ako ne djeliš emocije sa drugim muškarcem i
- ako to smatraš zabavom

Uz ispunjenje ovih uslova ti si i dalje str8! O filmu neću mnogo pisati jer o njemu možete pročitati u tekstu skinutom sa jednog foruma. Umjesto toga ispričaću vam jednan događaj koji se meni desio u Istambulu u Turskoj. Sa jednim prijateljem odem u neko tursko kupatilo koje je na netu označeno kao gay kupatilo. Nismo zatekli baš mnogo ljudi na tom mjestu, ali kad smo već platili odlučimo da se lijepo iskupamo i osvežimo! U sauni nekoliko muškaraca, nemožeš odvojiti koji je zgodniji od koga! Mi se nešto kao počeli nabacivati, ali oni sve nešto kuliraju i jedva da su obratili pažnju na nas. Moj drug odustao o "udvaranja" Ode u bazen da se okupa, a ja se ko muva na govno zalijepio za jednog crnog turčina fenomenalnog izgleda. I malo pomalo uz priču navedem ga na razgovor o seksu. U jednom momentu on mi kaže " Ja sam isključivo aktivan!" Ja mu rekoh i ja sam kad moram, našta se on slatko nasmijao. Pitam ga nakon toga bili pristao na seks samnom i sa mojim prijateljem i on prisatne. Odemo u kabinu i tu se kao počnemo vatati, a moj prijatelj u jednom momentu kaže: "nije ovo za mene" i ode. Ja nastavih da se vatam sa turčinom i uz neko drkanje svršimo. On nakon toga reče da treba da mu platim 100 eura, a ja ostatoh bez teksta. Rekoh kako nije pominjao pare prije seksa i da sam znao da nebih pristao na to! On mi složi priču kako su svugdje kamere i da moram da platim inače me neće pustit da izađem iz kupatila. ja mu rekoh kako nema tolio novaca kod sebe i da pare i kartice držim u hotelu a da sa sobom imam samo 30 eura. Nakon dužeg preganjanja on uze tih 30 eura i ode.
Dok smo izlazili odatle bacim pogled kod portira a on se smješka i gleda nas. I onoj kućici iza pulta sve monitori na kojima sve vidiš šta se radi u kupatilu! UŽAS ! Sledio sam se od muke! Nauk za cjeli život. Trebam li vam reći da nisam više nikada pristajao na seks u Turskoj ili drugim arapskim zemljama, a da nisam prije toga rekao: Nemoj mi poslije seksa tražiti novac! Ja se jebem samo za džabe!
Kasnije sam shvatio zašto mnogi pederi obožavaju arape i turke. Kult penisa je u tim zemljama kao neka religija!
E tako se i naš Kenedi počeo jebati sa muškarcima za novac i pri tome je funkcionisao kao da je oduvjek peder! Iako je seksualno str8, kurcem jebe sve što stigne, a moralno je peder! ( karakterna osobina )

Dokumentarno-igrani film "Kenedi se ženi" nagrađivanog domaćeg scenariste i reditelja Želimira Žilnika premijerno je prikazan sinoć u Studentskom kulturnom centru u Beogradu, uz filmove "Kenedi se vraća kući" (2003) i "Gde je Kenedi bio dve godine" (2005), posvećene sudbini Kenedija Hasanija, Roma bez jasnog porekla i prebivališta, stabilnog društvenog identiteta, socijalne i ekonomske pozicije, koga puko snalaženje i strast za životom postavljaju u niz veoma bizarnih situacija.
Premijera novog Žilnikovog filma, čija je učešće već najavljeno na festivalima u
Veneciji, Trstu i Berlinu, bila je prilika i za pregled celog serijala filmova o sudbini Kenedija Hasanija, opisanog kroz krajnje specifičnu mešavinu dokumentarnog i fiktivnog.
Njegov lik izrasta u simptom stanja današnjeg poretka, u kojem su cele populacije svedene na puku biomasu, a pojedinci, čiji društveni status nije ekonomski i simbolički osiguran, prisiljeni na stalni nomadizam.
Žilnik je započeo taj serija filmom "Kenedi se vraća kući" (produkcija Terra film i Multiradio, 2003) o ljudima koji su tokom ratova 90-ih izbegli u zemlje Evropske unije, proveli tamo više godina, izrodili decu, upisali ih u škole...
Od 2002. u "procesu re-admisije", grubom i nehumanom akcijom policije, istrgnuti su sa posla, iz škola i stanova i vraćeni u Srbiju, a u Srbiji izloženi teškoćama preživljavanja i u velikom broju slučajeva, nemogućnosti školovanja dece. Fokus filma je na položaju Roma, kao najugroženijeg dela vraćene populacije. Posebno Roma sa Kosova, kojima se onemogućuje boravak u naseljima i kućama iz kojih su od rata pobegli.
Kenedi Hasani učestvuje u sva tri filma, a u drugom, "Gde je Kenedi bio dve godine" (Terra film), posle učešća u prvom Žilnikovom delu iz te trilogije, odlučio je da ponovo ilegalno krene u zemlje EU, gde su mu ostali otac, majka, braća i sestre.
Međutim, uhvaćen je 2003. prilikom ilegalnog prelaska mađarsko - austrijske granice, te je boravio nekoliko meseci u kampu. Zatim je uspeo da prebegne u Austriju, potom u Nemačku i Holandiju.
Ekipa filma ga je srela u Beču, januara 2005, na projekciji filma "Kenedi se vraća kući", na univerzitetu. Dokumentarac prati Kenedijeva iskustva ponovnog izbeglištva i njegovo ponovno vraćanje u zemlju, gde donosi važnu odluku da počne da zida kuću, pripremajući se tako za predstojeći "postupak readmisije" kojem će ubrzo biti izloženi ostali članovi porodice.
U filmu "Kenedi se ženi" (Terra film u saradnji sa Jet.Co. - VK TV), Kenedi je izgradio kuću i ušao u dug. Baveći se raznim poslovima, on i brat pokušavaju da vrate dug. Nadnica je deset evra, a izgledi za zaradu slabi. Kenedi se odlučuje i na ljubavne usluge, u zamenu za novac. Prvo sa vremešnim damama i udovicama, a zatim i sa imućnijim muškarcima.
Saznavši za nove, liberalne zakone u EU, interesuje se za kontakte sa potencijalnim mladoženjom koji bi mu omogućio legalni status u Evropi. Nalazi Maxa na Exit festivalu, rađa se idila i čini se da je rešenje na pomolu...

Ovo je dokumentarni film o Coltonu Fordu, porno glumcu poznat svim ljubiteljima gay pornića! Prića o njegovom načinu života, o tome ko je on. šta voli, šta želi da radi itd. Interesantno je kada pokazuju svoju kuću. Sva je u kamerama tako da oni sa kojima čatuje preko interneta mogu da gledaju i prate sve šta radi. Kao u big brother kući. Strašno, nadam se da ih gasi kada se jebe inače nikada neću otići kod njega!
Da li ste znali da ova mišićava grdosija voli i da pjeva?! Da budem iskren i nije baš neki pjevač ali bih volio da mi zapjeva u krevetu! Film je povremeno zabavan, al je dobrim dijelom dosadan i prazan. nepotrebnih scena i priča koliko god oćeš! Na primjer kadrovi koji pokazuju jednolične krajolike pored puta dok se voze kolima i slično. U svakom slučaju uz ovaj film vam ide i soundtrack iz kojeg jedino izdvajam pjesmu Melisse G - Naked Fame. Prava gay dance muzika!
Ako ste mislili da će te u filmu naći gomilu sexy scena i golotinje prevarili ste se. Osim na početku filma kada prikazuje kako čatuje na netu, Ford se ne pojavljuje nigdje go! Da ima više takvih scena mislim da bi film bio itekako gledan. Ovako...

U filmu se naravno pojavljuje njegov partner Blake Harper ( Peter), sa kojim je Ford u vezi. Sladak je i bolje mi izgleda nego CF. Na žalost više se ne bave jebanjem pred kamerama jer kao žele da nešto promjene u životu. Scena kada se Peter zaplakao i kada ga je zagrlio Ford je baš romantična, ali nebojte se, nećete zaplakati!

Kada su u pitanju Transeksualci, Tranvestiti i Trans populacija ostajem nemoćan da bilo šta tu objasnim. Jedva da poznajem razliku između tih termina. Naprosto potpuno strani svijet za mene. O tome sam najviše naučio gledajući filmove Pedra Almodovara.
Ovaj dokumentarni film sam kao i mnoge druge ovdije našao surfajući na netu.
Isprva sam se smijao kao lud, a poslije mi se mješao osjećaj gađenja i čuđenja. Kako je film odmicao sa zanimanjem sam pratio priče tranvestita iz različitih društvenih slojeva.
Biti drag queen je za većinu ljudi prikazanih u ovom filmu smisao života. Ali za neke je to samo način ispoljavanja svoje seksualne individualnosti.
Film nam opisuje transgender scenu New Yorka 1990. godine koji nastupaju na "balls compettition" za šta ne umijem da nađem adekvatan prevod. Naprosto nekako izraz imati muda mi neide uz ova stvorenja na filmu. Ono što definitivno stoji da bi na našim prostrima bukavalno trebalo imati muda i prikazati se u takvim queen izdanjima kakvih možete vidjeti u ovom dokumentarcu.

Paris Is Burning is a 1990 documentary film directed by Jennie Livingston. Filmed in the mid-to-late 1980s, it chronicles the ball culture of New York City and the poor, African American and Latino gay and transgendered community involved in it. Many consider Paris Is Burning to be an invaluable documentary of the end of the "Golden Age" of New York City drag balls, as well as a thoughtful exploration of race, class, and gender in America.

The film explores the elaborately-structured Ball competitions in which contestants, adhering to a very specific category or theme, must "walk" (much like a fashion model's runway) and subsequently be judged on criteria including the "realness" of their drag, the beauty of their clothing and their dancing ability.

Most of the film alternates between footage of balls and interviews with prominent members of the scene, including Pepper LaBeija, Dorian Corey, Anji Xtravaganza, and Willi Ninja. Many of the contestants vying for trophies are representatives of "Houses" (in the fashion sense, such as "House of Chanel") that serve as intentional families, social groups, and performance teams. Houses and ball contestants who consistently won in their walks eventually earned a "legendary" status.

Jennie Livingston, who never went to film school and who spent 7 years making Paris Is Burning, concentrated on interviews with key figures in the ball world, many of whom contribute monologues that shed light on the ball culture as well as on their own personalities. In the film, titles such as "house," "mother," and "reading" emphasize how the subculture the film depicts has taken words from the straight and white worlds, and imbued them with alternate meanings, just as the "houses" serve as surrogate families for young ball-walkers whose sexual orientations have sometimes made acceptance and love within their own families hard to come by.

In explaining the rules of the Balls (and the slang and terminology that goes along with them) the film also shines light on the societal hardships of Ball community members (such as racism, homophobia and poverty) and how these obstacles influence the participants (some are sex workers, some shoplift clothing to wear in the Balls, some were thrown out of their homes by homophobic parents, some are saving money for sex reassignment surgery). It follows several participants through candid one-on-one interviews (both in and out of the Balls) to give insight into their lives and struggles, and ultimately the strength, pride, and humor they maintain to survive in a "rich, white world."

Drag is presented as a complex performance of gender, class and race, in which one can express one's identity, desires and aspirations along many dimensions (see Drag). The African American and Latino community depicted in the film includes a diverse range of identities and gender presentations, from gay men to butch queens to transsexual women.

The film also documents the origins of "voguing", a dance style in which competing ball-walkers freeze and "pose" in glamorous positions (as if being photographed for the cover of Vogue). Pop star Madonna would, one year before Paris Is Burning was completed, bring the phenomenon to the mainstream with her number one song "Vogue".

Na žalost, kao i mnogo puta do sada sa neta sam skinuo toliko smeća pa se toliko iznerviram da naprosto ugasim računar, sa namjerom da ga ne upalim bar nekoliko dana. Sudeći po dobrim trajlerima i fotografijama često pomislim kako se radi o dobrom filmu, ali ispadne da je to jedino dobro od njega.
Od nekoliko filmova sa gay tematikom koje sam skinuo zaključio sam da ni jedan ne zaslužuje da se nađe na ovom blogu, čak ni pod rubrikom "loš Film"

Zato vam predstavljam još jedan dokumentarac koji i nije nešto posebno dobro napravljen, ali ima zanimljivu tematiku, Sex life in L.a.
Kroz priču 9 momaka, koji rade u sex industriji L.A. ovaj dokumentarac nam pokušava približiti život koji se odvija oko porno industrije, eskorta, i svega onoga što se odvija iz scene.
Porno glumci, fotografi, eskort momci, modeli itd, koji sanjaju o nekakvom uspjehu, slavi i bogastvu nam pričaju o svom životu , poslu , razmišljanjima...
Jochen Hick se nije libio da nam kao dijelove priča ovih momaka prikaže i najeksplicitnije scene, tako da je ovaj film sa pravom dobio oznaku koju dobija bilo koji pornić.

PLAYGIRL is a monthly lifestyle magazine published in the United States that features seminude or fully nude men. The magazine was founded in 1973 during the height of the feminist movement as a response to erotic men's magazines such as Playboy and Penthouse that featured similar photos of women.

The magazine is well-known for two publicity stunts - offering Charles, Prince of Wales $45,000 to appear nude in a centerfold in 1990, and publishing a nude pictorial called "The Men of Enron" in September 2002 in which some former Enron employees "lost their shirts."

Though the magazine is marketed to heterosexual women, Playgirl's then-editor-in-chief Michele Zipp said in 2003, "The gay readership is about 30%." She went on to add, "It's 'Entertainment for Women' because there's no other magazine out there that caters to women in the way we do, but we love our gay readers as well."[1] Also in 2003, the President of Trans Digital Media, LLC (the brand management firm for Playgirl TV), Mark Graff, stated that 50% of Playgirl's readership are gay males.[2]

Playgirl is published by New York-based company Blue Horizon Media, which also publishes High Society, Celebrity Skin, Hawk, Chéri and a number of other hardcore pornographic magazines. Blue Horizon, then known as Crescent Publishing, was charged in 2000 by the FCC with over 180 million dollars of online credit card fraud, much of which was conducted on the Playgirl Magazine site. All Blue Horizon titles, including Playgirl were prevented from conducting any business on the web for five years. Then-president Bruce Chew was subsequently indicted, along with several prominent members of the Gambino crime family.

Throughout the history of the magazine, Playgirl has featured male frontal nudity except for the early issues in 1973, and the infamous non-nude year 1987. In 1986, Drake Publishers (later renamed Crescent, and renamed again to Blue Horizon Media) bought Playgirl and relocated it to New York. John Paul became the first full frontal centerfold in November 1987 after a disastrous non-nude year. Throughout the years the magazine has matured as erections, foreskin and non-Caucasian models have appeared in the magazine. The magazine has generally featured models who have been circumcised but of late, layouts with uncircumcised models are featured.

Playgirl is available in English and has been published in numerous foreign-language and international editions during its history: Germany (1978-1980 and 1989-2003), France (1978), Australia (1985-88, and as Interlude in 1991), the Netherlands (1987-88), Great Britain (1992-93), South Africa (1995), Brazil, and Russia (2004-?), and in a Spanish-language edition (1992-93). A limited Canadian edition is in the works.

Apart from professional models, Playgirl features amateur models in a section called Real Men (formerly known as Snapshots). A Real Men of the Year contest is held, in which readers can vote the for the best layout of the year.

Every year in June, Playgirl has its "Man of the Year" issue. In July, it's the "Country" issue and in November, Playgirl dedicates an issue to "Campus Hunks." A nude centerfold calendar featuring the men of the previous year is usually included in the December or January issue of the magazine. Readers are asked to vote for the Man of the Year from the pictures of the calendar.

In August 2008, the magazine announced that they will cease publication of its print edition as of the January 2009 issue. After that point, the magazine plans to continue with an online-only edition

The film gives voice to the life and creative impulse of the gay erotic artist known across the gay world as 'Tom of Finland'. Essentially an interview documentary with some very brief 'enactments' inspired by Tom's artwork, this is a long way from fetish pornography but is thought-provoking nonetheless.

Tom describes his early life in the Finnish army, in mundane jobs and, matter-of-factly, how he became inspired to put onto paper his exagerrated masculine fantasies of men in leather, uniforms and workwear.

Most of the interview is shot in the stillness of Tom's apartment/studio, with the film broken into segments centering on themes of his work: depiction of black men and women, technique, use of models and leather as his muse: "I put on a special outfit", he explains, "if I need to be inspired".

The subject is fascinating and likeable, even if the film-making is a little dry in tone. When it comes to the extremely short 'enactment' sessions, featuring shadowy, muscular figures in leather and SM play, there is none of the boldness and exuberance that the drawings, in comparison convey, even as static images.

Putting its arthouse stylistic shortcomings aside, the film is a precious document of this influential artist who died a few years after it was made. The brief commentaries from friend and critics point out just how deeply Tom's fantasies have become the primers for the post-war emergent gay subcultures of Leather/SM, with all their knock-on influence on wider cultural consciousness. While outsiders may not relate to Tom's proclivities, they will be moved by his integrity and skill in realising his fantasies.

Alongside Tove Jansson, the creator of the the Moomin characters, Tom of Finland is the most internationally renowned Finnish graphic artist, but in Finland remained mostly unknown outside the gay subculture during his life.

The exhibitions organised after his death gave him wider audience. Because his art dealt with erotic and even pronographic subject material, Tom did not receive recognition for his work from the Finnish society during his career. As an artist, it is fair to say that Tom of Finland’s work was labelled pronographic much in the same way as Andy Warhol’s work was labelled commercial.

Tom himself was very plain about his work. "Yes, I consider my work pornography. Pornography means to stimulate peoples' sexual feelings, and I'm always very aware of that. My motive is lower than art."

Still Tom’s influence to the gay subculture and eventually to the mainstream culture through the popular adoption of SM and fetish imagery, should not be underestimated.
Even more important than that, Tom’s life’s work offered a new strong gay identity and a positive role model for growing gay men - his characters were not effeminate gigglers or sad weaklins but muscular, butch and full of humour and happiness.

Tom of Finland's real name was Touko Laaksonen. He was born on 8 May 1920, on the south coast of Finland. Tom died in November 7th, 1991.

Sinoć sam do kasno ostao budan gledajući ovaj dokumentarni film. Zaista je fascinirajuće gledati ovaj istorijat LGBT Hollywoodskih filmova. Počev od onih starih filmova sa Chaplinom pa do novijih ostvarenja sa Tom Hanksom i Antonom Banderasom. Dosta filmova koji su u kratkim crtama opisani u ovom dokumentarcu se nalaze i u ovom blogu.

Ovaj sjajan prikaz Gay populacije kroz filmska ostvarenja je nastao na osnovu istoimene knjige Vita Russoa, koji je vršio istraživanje o tome kako je prikazivana gay populacija kroz filmsku umjetnost od 1890. do 1980. i kako je to uticalo na društvo u cjelini. Knjiga je objavljena 1981. god.


Dugo vremena ,a vrlo često i dan danas homoseksualnost je u filmovima prikazivana na tri načina: kao nešto smiješno, kao nešto što treba žaliti ili nešto čega se treba bojati.

Do 60-tih godina, homoseksualnost je vrlo bojažljivo i skriveno prikazivana, bez nekih direktnih i očiglednih prikaza ljubavi prema istome polu. Ako bi se neko i usudio eksplicitnije prikazati neku scenu bio bi trenutno osuđen kao perverznjak , jer se gay love tako i tretirala.
Tek nakon seksualne revolucije 60-tih i 70-tih godina Hollywood se odvažio da eksplicitnije prikaže ovu do tada mračnu stranu ljudske psihe. Depresivni, psihotični ili manijakalni pederi su do tada bili najčešće upotrebljavani , ako se baš moralo prikazati homoseksualnost. Prvi pederi koji su počeli da mjenjaju sliku o njima su bili su oni iz 'The Boys In the Band' (1970), a danas mislim da nema nikoga is generacije 60-tih godina da nije čuo za film "Cabaret" (1972) koji i dan danas volim pogledati.
Od tada pa do današnjih danaje kroz Hollywood protutnjalo gomila pedera, što u filmovima, što u serijama.
Većina pedera je zasigurno odgledala film Cruising (1980) sa Al Pacinom u glavnoj ulozi koji je u americi izazvao burne proteste gay zajednice jer je pedere prikazao kao manijake i ubice.
Interesantno je vidjeti scene iz gomile gay filmova, koji homoseksualnu ljubav prikazuju kao nešto sasvim ljudski, sa puno emocija.
Na žalost pojavom AIDS-a nastaje razdoblje kada je većina pederskih filmova pravljena sa srceparajućim scenama kao ona sa Tom Hanksom i Banderasom u Philadelphiji.

Nadalje će te vidjeti na koji način se Hollywood izborio sa homofobijom u američkom društvu.

The Celluloid Closet (1995) is a documentary film directed and written by Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman. The film is based on the 1981 (revised 1987) book of the same name written by Vito Russo, and on previous lecture and film clip presentations given in person by Russo 1972-82. Russo researched the history of how motion pictures, especially Hollywood films, had portrayed gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender characters. It was given a limited release in select theatres, including the Castro Theatre in San Francisco in April 1996, and then shown on cable channel HBO.

The documentary interviews various men and women connected to the Hollywood industry to comment on various film clips and their own personal experiences with the treatment of LGBT characters in film. From the sissy characters, to the censorship of the Hollywood Production Code, the coded gay characters and cruel stereotypes to the progress made in the early 1990s.

Vito Russo wanted his book to be transformed into a documentary film and helped out on the project until he died in 1990. Some critics of the documentary noted that it was less political than the book and ended on a more positive note. However, Russo had wanted the documentary to be entertaining and to reflect the positive changes that had occurred up to 1990.

Russo was one of the first people to persuade gay and straight people to examine the role that popular culture plays in shaping our attitudes about sexual orientation and gender identity.[citation needed] It started a genre of research that examines how movies, television shows, comic books, and video and computer games depict LGBT people.

Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) gives an award called the Vito Russo Award to openly gay or lesbian people within the Hollywood film industry who advance the cause of fighting homophobia.

Cijelo jutro sam proveo u kancelariji sjedeći na stolici i radeći. I sada kad sam došao doma leđa me otkidaju. Prijalo bi mi jedno kupanje u jakuzi kadi i nakon toga masaža.
