Stranac pored jezera  ( Stranger by lake) je francuski thriler u režiji Alain Guiraudie koji je na Kanskom festivalu 2013 dobio nagradu za režiju. Film je osvojio i Queer Palm nagradu, a takođe je prikazivan i na Toronto International Film Festivalu 2013. god.

Većina pedera i gejeva su iskusili čari kruzinga pored neke nudističke plaže na kojoj se kupaju mnogobrojni istomišljenici, radoznalci, swingeri, biseksualci, drkadžije, voajeri itd. Ukoliko ipak ima neko ko ne zna o čemu pričam neka sačeka prve tople proljetne dane i posjeti nudističu plažu, a ukoliko želite da to bude u Crnoj Gori predlažem vam Crvenu Glavicu, Adu Bojanu, Ratac ili Jaz.
Nemojte se samo sunčati i kupati nego malo prošetajte okolo plaže, a posebno predlažem da obiđete zaklonjenija mjesta, šumarke, udaljene uvalice i slično.
Velike su šanse da će te naići na razne likove koji onako napaljeno i uznevereno gledaju u vas potajno ili otvoreno drkajući kurac raznim mimikama vam davaju do znanja da žele seks sa vama ili vas otvoreno pitaju da li bi im dopustili da vam popuše kurac ili da vas prijateljski izjebu. U svakom slučaju od vaših afiniteta zavisi šta će te dalje raditi i nemojte se stidjeti šta god učinjeli. U tim trenucima budite upravo ono što želite da budete u vašim najluđim maštarijama uz koje obično drkate.
Na jednom od takvih mjesta, tamo neđe u Francuskoj na obali nekog jezera redovno dolazi i Frank, glavni lik ovog filma.
Svaki dan uredno polaže svoj bijeli peškir na plaži osmatrajući koga sve ima u okolici i pažljivo odmjeravajući one malobrojne sa kojima nije imao seks.Upoznaje Henrija, sredovječnog polu geja koji se nikada ne skida i uvjek je udaljen od ostalih nudista. Henri ga uvjek zove na piće ili na večeru ali Frenku izgleda nije do druženja sa nekim ko ga seksualno ne privlači.
Takođe upoznaje i Mišela, zgodnog muškarca srednjih godina koji djeluje baš onako muški i pomalo opasno. Naravno to je samo maska jer univerzalni Mišel obožava da se nabija na kurac kako bi povremeno razradio mušku dlakavu pičkicu.

Mišel na plaži ima i sex partnera tj. dečka sa kojim se redovno prca u okolnoj šumi.
Jedno kasno poslije podne Frank iz šume ugleda Mišela kako se kupa u jezeru sa svojim ljubavnikom. U tom trenutku Mišel uhvati nesretnog ljubavnika i udavi ga u jezeru.

Sledeći dan Frank se susreće sa Mišelom na plaži i pravi se da ne zna šta se desilo predhodni dan. Nakon kratog razgovora završe u  šumici iznad plaže gdje su uredno napunili jedan drugome guzice dok ih je jedan drkadžija posmatrao. Rodila se naravno ljubav jer seks je bio savršen. ( kod pedera seks je glavni pokazatelj zaljubljenosti:) U ovom slučaju Frenk je taj koji zove na piće i večeru, a Mišel kako to pederska pravila zahtjevaju odbija.

Šalim se naravno oko ove zaljubljenosti ali definitivno je kod promiskuitetnih pedera pravilo da sa osobom koja služi za seksualne igrice nikada ne idu na piće i da se ujutro nikada ne probude pored upotrebljenog kurca. Kod gejeva je to ipak malo drugačije, ali u suštini ponašanje je slično.

Ne bih da vam otkrijem sve do kraja, ali čitava ova priča ima nedorečen kraj i mislim da bi dodatnih desetak minuta  upotpunilo doživljaj gledanja ovog filma.
Za one koji vole malo eksplicitnije filmove siguran sam da će uživati u scenama seksa koje su snimane kao u nekim softcore pornićima.

Mene je ovaj film podsjetio na jedan događaj na nudističkoj plaži na Crvenoj Glavici. Bio je jedan čiča koji je tamo svakodnevno dolazio i kupao se na dijelu plaže na kom se ne kupaju pederi. Neke postarije gospođe su mu ponekad pravile društvo ali uglavnom je bio sam. Kako sam se početkom ljeta kupao baš na tom mjestu, a vikende provodio u obližnjem kampu mogao sam ga krišom posmatrati. Bio mi je zanimljiv način na koji komunicira sa ostalim ljudima na plaži i kako je potpuno opušten i prirodan. Iako je imao skoro 60 godina bio mi je privlačan.

Kada sam se naveče vraćao u kamp prolazeći pored njega pozovem ga na pivo. Pristane i odemo u kamp ispred šatora. Otvorimo limenke i počnemo sa pričom kako bi se bolje upoznali. Ja skinem kupaće i samo se obavijem sa peškirom, a on kada je to vidio pitao me da li bi mi smetalo da i on uradi isto jer je mnogo prijatnije nego u kupaće.
Ispričao mi je sve o bivšoj ženi, djeci, poslu , popili 3-4 piva i vidno raspoložen usred tog  str8 razgovora me pita: Jesi li kada pušio kurac?Nasmijah se i rekoh da jesam. On odgovori da nije i da nema namjeru ni da proba.
Vidim iskren je čovjek, a očito je i šta  želi pa mu rekoh da umoči kitu u pivo. Makne peškir umoči kitu u pivo i tako ja dobih pivo sa kite. Dobro je bilo:)

Stranger by the Lake (French: L'Inconnu du lac) is a 2013 French drama film directed by Alain Guiraudie. It was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival where Guiraudie won the award for Best Director. The film also won the Queer Palm award. It was screened in the Contemporary World Cinema section at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival.
During the summer, on the edge of a lake surrounded by hills and forests and far from any houses, several male bathers, mostly naturists and gay, come to sunbathe. The woods behind the beach are a place where fleeting sexual encounters take place in a promiscuous atmosphere. Each day, Franck lays his towel on the white stony beach where he gets to know Henri (whose wife has just left him) and also Michel, a good-looking man to whom he is immediately attracted. But Michel is a murderer as Franck soon finds out when one evening, from the woods which overlook the lake, he spots him drowning Pascal, his current partner. Upset and afraid but also completely under the spell of the murderer, Franck keeps what he has seen a secret, becoming an accomplice to the man he desires. He soon gives in to his advances and falls passionately in love with him, yet all the while hiding his fear in case his lover should realise that he knows exactly what he did.

Two days later, the body of the drowned man is discovered and identified. His death is considered suspicious bringing a police inspector to the scene who interrogates Franck and Michel shortly after. Franck continues to protect Michel by stating that he didn't see anything unusual on the evening the man drowned. As the inspector continues his investigation, Franck and Michel's relationship progresses, even as Franck becomes increasingly frustrated by Michel's refusal to meet him anywhere other than at the beach. Henri, with whom Franck has built up an entirely platonic relationship so far, has an intuitive understanding of what has happened over the past few days, and warns Franck about Michel: "In your shoes, I would be very scared!" Franck is afraid of course, but when his psychopathic lover arrives during the discussion, he leaves Henri for Michel and sits down next to him further along the beach.

Later on, Franck goes swimming far from shore. Henri, making the most of Franck's absence, goes to see Michel and tells him he's convinced that the recent drowning wasn't an accident, that he has realised that Michel was the killer, and that the inspector will identify the murderer sooner or later. He looks at Michel knowingly and mockingly, then stands up and says he's going to go for a walk in the woods. As he enters the woods, he casts a glance back at Michel.

Franck who is still swimming in the lake, turns around suddenly towards the beach: Michel has disappeared and Henri too. Elsewhere the beach is now deserted. Overcome with a bad feeling, Franck swims back to the beach and hastens into the woods. He sees Michel leaving a leafy bush behind which he finds Henri dying and covered in blood: Michel has slit his throat. Franck takes off his tee-shirt and tries to stop the bleeding but Henri makes him understand that it's too late and that he got what he was looking for. With Henri dead, Franck is terrified and runs off into the woods to hide. Michel follows him and chances upon the inspector, who he hits violently and stabs in the stomach with a knife. Night falls and Franck remains crouched behind a bush from where he can see the killer walk past time and again just a few yards away from him, looking for him and calling for him to show himself and saying that he needs him, needs his love and that he wants to spend the night with him. Finally, Michel goes away to look for him further in the woods: the danger seems to have passed, so Franck finally stands up and calls his lover's name, with no reply. He waits in the darkness, overcome with fear and his heart beating fast, looking into the woods and the silence.

"The Crying Game" je psihološki triler iz 1992. godine kojeg je napisao i režirao Neil Jordan. Film se bavi temama rasizma, spola, nacionalnosti i seksualnosti, a sve u pozadini nevolja u Irskoj. Radni naziv filma bio je Soldier's Wife.
Radnja filma vrti se oko iskustava glavnog protagonista Fergusa (Stephen Rea) kao člana IRA-e, njegovog kratkog, ali vrlo značajnog poznanstva s Jodyjem (Forest Whitaker) kojeg Fergusova grupa drži kao zatvorenika te njegove neočekivane romantične veze s Jodyjevom djevojkom Dil (Jaye Davidson) za koju je Fergus obećao Jodyju da će ju zaštititi. Međutim, neočekivani događaji natjerati će Fergusa da odluči što želi u budućnosti.

 

Film je bio kritički i komercijalni uspjeh, a osvojio je i prestižnu nagradu Oscar u kategoriji najboljeg originalnog scenarija.

Jeste li čuli za priču o škorpionu i žabi?
Ako niste radi se o tome da škorpion zamoli žabu da ga prebaci preko rijeke. Žaba pristane i na pola rijeke je ubode. Dok su tonuli žaba ga pita zašto je ubo otrovnom žaokom, sad će oboje umrijeti. Škorpion joj kaže: Ne mogu si pomoći, to je u mojoj prirodi.

Mene ova priča podsjetila na jednog prijatelja koji je nakon deset godina lijepe veze raskinuo.
Divio sam im se kako su tak dugo zajedno iako su varali jedan drugog. Kada sam ga pitao zašto su raskinuli, kratko je odgovorio:
- Jbga u prirodi pedera je da vole kurac, a najviše vole onaj koji nisu probali. Ima li istine u tome? Vjerovatno ima jer 90% gejeva u vezi se prepusti svojoj prirodi i zajednički upražnjavaju seks sa drugima.

"Igra plača" je kompleksan film čiji početak nas navodi da pomislimo da je tema terorizam i nasilje, ali kasnije vidimo da se radi o nečemu sasvim drugom, toleranciji, rasizmu i odnosu prema transeksualnosti i homoseksualizmu.

From the opening notes of Percy Sledge's "When a Man Loves a Woman," Neil Jordan's "The Crying Game" ventures into such exquisitely unique territory that you feel giddy from the pleasure of being allowed to travel along.

The film -- which is one of the most challenging, surprising films of the year -- begins at an Irish fairground, where a working-class English soldier named Jody (played by the great young American actor Forest Whitaker) is seduced by a foxy member of an IRA group (Miranda Richardson) and then kidnapped by her colleagues as a hostage to be exchanged with the British for one of their own.

Immediately, the prisoner strikes up a desperate relationship with his primary guard, Fergus (Stephen Rea), a dedicated but rather softhearted Irish rebel who can't help but respond emotionally to his flirtatious enemy, who at best guess has about 24 hours to live. Fergus is a man with a simple philosophy of life; he's a realist and a romantic cynic, something like the tough but honorable antiheroes Bogart used to play, and who does what he has to do -- even if it means killing Jody -- but not without conscience or humanity.

During those 24 or so hours, the two men share stories and become friends. They become, in fact, something more, like soul mates, so that when the prisoner is dispatched, Fergus takes up his life, traveling to London and tracking down Jody's girlfriend, Dil (Jaye Davidson), whose picture he had seen in the dead man's wallet. Compelled by motives that are not entirely clear (even to himself), Fergus begins to court and then fall in love with Dil.

The lovers couldn't be more star-crossed. (The producers have asked the press not to reveal just how the couple are at odds.) Suffice it to say there are definite problems, but Jordan's touch is so gracefully gentle that, against all odds, we believe in the couple's continuing relationship. In doing so, Jordan and his cast discover emotional states that I've never witnessed on the movie screen before -- delicate, ambiguous, sometimes inscrutable emotions that lift "The Crying Game" far above its thriller genre.

Just what is it about? The bartender at the Metro, the club where Jody and Dil used to go, sums it up best when he shouts out the rhetorical question, "Who knows the secrets of the human heart?" That's Jordan's turf here, his lab. And "The Crying Game" is his boldest, richest work yet. From the performances by Rea, Davidson and Whitaker, to Jordan's endlessly original script, to Anne Dudley's melancholy score, and Lyle Lovett's closing rendition of "Stand by Your Man," "The Crying Game" enthralls and amazes us. It deserves to be called great.

Vassili je muška kurva zašla u godine kada sve teže nalazi klijente. Jedno veče u Bolonjskoj šumi nalazi pretučenog mladića, takođe prostitutku po imenu Andjelo. Pomaže mu da se oporavi i nastaje ljubavna veza između njih. Ali Vassili u sebi posjeduje nešto što mu sa lakoćom omogućava da ubije čovjeka izvršavajući "pravdu" prema sopstvenim mjerilima.

Film se može klasifikovati kao neka ljubavna kriminalistička drama.Zanimljivo prikazani likovi koji su razvili sopstvene životne norme i pravila, kako u odnosu prema drugim ljudima tako i prema seksu. Na žalost te norme i pravila ponašanja nisu onakve kakve bi uistinu željeli nego norme nametnute životnim situacijama u kojima zapadaju.

Odnos starijeg pedera i mladog Andjela nalikuje na odnos svodnik-ljubavnik ali u pozadini se ipak krije prava ljubavna romansa mladjeg i starijeg muškarca. Zaštitnički odnos starijeg ljubavnika je nešto što kao magnet privlači uplašene momke koji traže odgovore na mnoga pitanja, prvenstveno o sebi samima. Ispočetka su takve veze vrlo jake, ali vremenom postaju nestabilne prožete ljubomorom i posesivnošću. Mladji dolaze do odgovora na pitanja koja postavljaju tražeći svoje mjesto u društvu, a time se smanjuje potreba da budu zaštićeni. Potreba da budu voljeni i shvaćeni postaje ono čemu većina teži.

Film je na kraju ostao nekako nedorečen. Priča je završila onako kako je morala da se završi, ali ostala je nejasna ona mračna strana kod Vasillia koja se uz  erotiku preteže kroz cjeli film. No bez obzira na to film zaslužuje pažnju i svakako ga preporučujem za pogledati.

Something deeply dark and disturbing yet visually enticing awaits viewers for this French drama about a 30-something hustler whose neurosis about aging is, we assume,  turning him to a motiveless murderous monster.   After finding a younger man (Dimitri Durdaine) lying dazed, damaged and suffering from memory loss in the cruising grounds of Bois de Boulogne, Paris,  Vassili (Stephane Rideau) shrouds his new muse, becoming a hybrid of pimp/lover figure to his new squeeze.  After a client, who Vassili believes he had murdered, is discovered living in Paris, the two lovers and now accomplices are forced to go on the run.

Our Paradise is a enigmatically beautiful piece of cinematography with much thought given to ensuring that the characters are either corpulently grotesque or fallen angelic beauties, not in equal measure however.  Angelo is the fallen angelic beauty - both inside and out.  Vassili’s world is full of these gross, bloated and aged individuals who, one imagines used to be paying trade, now, with fresh blood, and Vassili’s burgeoning pot belly hindering his prospects; the fallen angelic beauty reignites business.   One odd scene, Angelo is examined by a doctor, ostensibly to see whether the boy was raped shoves a camera into the boy’s anus and describes his findings ‘smooth as silk.’   This is  however, as far as character probing goes.  Un-complex and a little two dimensional in some respects the characters are more animalistic in their pursuits.  Durdaine is almost entirely detached from his character, which adds to the rather chilling but lonely portrayal of Angelo. 

Durdaine plays an almost perfect twink to Rideau’s inflated frame and the audience is given many opportunities to revel in his nakedness, which of course is wonderful and does distract from some the many questions that the film’s lack of motive throws up.

One of the key issues explored is the often mismatched relationships between younger gay men and their respective elder partners. The narrative doesn’t judge, but merely outlines the possible issues faced by such relationships, most notably replaceability for a younger, newer, fresher model and the power struggle between the monied and the beneficiary.   

The supporting cast are superb, their performances loiter in the mind as an uneasy feeling engulfs you.  Sterling performances from supporting cast Béatrice Dalle and a young Mathis Morisset who shows acting promise far beyond his years.

The brilliantly translated subtitles really draw you into the action,  distracting the audience from analyzing our anti heros’ intentions.   Why the film is called Our Paradise remains, annoyingly elusive, as paradise is unobtainable for Vassili and Angelo.   The ending makes the film feel a little pointless and if your looking for a bow to wrap up the little details you certainly won’t find it in this film.

Policajac Rico koji je već 20 godina u braku i ima 17-godišnjeg sina, tokom prisustvovanja  autopsiji ubijenog homoseksualca zaljubljuje se u patologa Emanuella!?
Zaista nevjerovatno čak i za filmsku priču. Haos koji preživljava Rico se u filmu prikazuje kroz njegova noćene more u vidu horror scena. Rico napušta porodicu i odlazi da živi sa doktorom Emanullom. Nastavljajući da istražuje ubistvo Rico posumlja da  Emanule umješan u ubistvo manipuliše sa njim...

Iako mi cjela ova priča izgleda kao izmišljotina nekoga ko živi u svjetu morbidne mašte, doživljavao sam nevjerovatne stvari. Ljubav i seks sa nekim ko ima porodicu i nikada ranije nije osjećao privlačnost prema istom polu nije nešto o čemu ne mogu pričati, ali definitivno to nije na naćin kako je opisano u filmu. Strasti i zaljubljenost mogu da učine da na trenutak zaboravimo svjet u kojem živimo. Nakon tog trenutka vraćamo se u stvarnost!

Something like that has never happened to him before. During an autopsy the hardened cop Rico faints. This is not only about his current case, a gay professor of medicine who has become the victim of a brutal violent crime. The attractive new pathologist Emmanuel may also have triggered this sudden weakness. Although Rico knows every dark corner of his city of Lyon, he might not know all the dreams and fantasies which are hidden inside himself. On the hunt for a serial killer the two get closer to each other. But in a chaos of feelings and in the maelstrom of violence, they suddenly become a policeman and suspect ...

Here "autopsy" (which is the real French name of the movie) doesn't really refer to the post mortem examination (it does since the Dr. Riviere is a coroner) but can be divided in two : "auto" and "psy" which translated in English would mean "self psychology". If it can help understand the end of the movie...

Lično nisam ljubitelj Donalda Stracheya, ali sam dobio podosta mailova sa zahtjevom da u blog ubacim i ovaj film.

Detektivska priča u kojoj je detektiv peder koji živi sa jednim šarmantim likom se vrti oko dvije lezbijke koje su izložene maltretiranju . One su ujedno jedine u susjedstvu koje su odbile da prodaju kuću nekim investitorima za veliku sumu novca. Neko im ubacuje kamenje kroz prozor, piše anti pederske pamflete po zidovima i radi slične pakosti.
Ali tu je čuveni detektiv Donald Strachey koji sumlja da iza svega toga ne stoji homofobija već veliki biznis...

Film ne obiluje nekim nagim scenama, skoro da nema ništa što bi nam zaokupilo pažnju osim par scena u kojima je stidljivo prikazana golotinja. Penis nećete viđeti u ovom filmu. A gluma je na nivou ostalih filmova iz ovog detektivskog serijala - srednje loša.

Al ajde neka ga svrstamo u kategoriju filmova koje će mo pogledati kada nemamo pametnija posla!

SYNOPSIS

When the residents of a neighborhood are offered huge sums of money to sell their homes to a developer, the only ones to refuse are an elderly lesbian couple. Soon after, the couple’s home is besieged by anti-gay vandalism, but Don suspects that the attack is motivated by big-business rather than homophobia. As the investigation progresses, Tim and Don fall in love all over again, as strengthened by their admiration for the elderly lesbian couple.

Gay Detective as it should be played while watching this movie on the HERE! network, I came to realize that no one else could play the lead role except Chad Allen. While the movie pace is relatively slow in nature - it must after all build to the ending - it does so in just slow enough pace to make you want to pull your hair out.

Casting is decent all around - his up-tight husband is borderline annoying, and the gay secretary is becoming more annoying than in the last movie. The hot ex of the husband plays into the gay fear of the hot ex putting the make on the current husband...but it rather backfires on him as he becomes a target himself.

The last 40 minutes of the movie are the best part of the movie - you can almost skip through the first part as the pacing is too slow. But once the shooting starts and the music quickens - the pace of the movie goes into a much needed overdrive! They are currently filming another movie in the series - let's hope that they can pace the next one better - but this one is not too shabby all around - just needs a slightly higher quality of scripts!

Ovo baš i nije gay film iako ima dovoljno elemenata da se nadje u filmskoj kolekciji mnogih pedera.

Mladi inspector Luhel dolazi na obali Bretanje da istraži smrt mladog adoscelanta. Policija vjeruje da se radi o nesretnom sluc(aju ali majka nesretnog mladic'a vjeruje da ga je ubio njen bivši muž Srege Tunguya.

Inspektor Luhel nalazi Tunguya golog u mračnoj prostoriji. Prizor u kojem je contrast dve osobe izuzetan, Luhel, mlad , suv, hladan I Tunguy prikazan u mračnoj perspektivi, bez želje za životom, anksiozan I samo destruktivan.

Tokom filma inspector Luhel postaje opsjednut Tunguyem. Mnoge scene nagog inspektora I prikazi enormnog penisa nesretnog Tangaya daju filmu posebnu dimenziju. He mnogi pederi sanjaju o takvim penisima, valjda kao simbol najmilije kazne za to što su takvi kakvi jesu!

Sve u svemu film se može kategorisati kao policijski triler, a ne kao gay film!

Review

Pierre Erwan Guillaume made his directorial debut with this, one of the most original and intriguing French films of 2004. Starting out as what looks like a thriller cut from the conventional policier mould, the film gradually morphs into something very different - a hauntingly poetic portrayal of a young man’s search for his own identity, disguised as a police investigation on the suitably austere coast of Brittany.

In contrast to the usual crime drama, where there is a well-honed plot which ends with the mystery tidily explained, this film has very little plot and no clear resolution. A great deal is left to our imagination, which is both frustrating and strangely liberating. Pierre Erwan Guillaume leaves us with a bleak existentialist mystery which he invites us to dissect and analyse at our leisure. If probably helps if you've read a bit of Sartre and Camus beforehand.

The director’s inexperience does show in a number of places - most notably in the uneven pacing and abundance of slightly caricatured secondary characters. However, these imperfections do not greatly diminish the film's impact and, if anything, they add to its rough-and-ready charm. Had the film been more polished, it would probably had far less of an impact.

One thing that cannot be faulted is the contribution from the lead actors - Jalil Lespert and Aurélien Recoing, two of French cinema's finest, the former playing gauche sensitivity as convincingly as the latter plays brooding self-confidence. Both actors put in an incredibly intense performance which conveys the great inner torment of a soul wracked by dark sub-conscious desires. It is the most harrowingly realistic portrayal of two men who have reached the limit of their endurance and who see nothing but darkness ahead of them. Neither character is willing to accept the truth of his identity, so both are drawn inexorably to the precipice of self-destruction.

L'Ennemi naturel is not a film that will appeal to everyone. The abstract nature of its subject, the explicit sexual imagery (carried to excess in some places) and the lack of a closed narrative make it a demanding work that is not particularly comfortable to watch. That said, it does exert a very tight vice-like hold on the spectator, and explores themes which few filmmakers are brave enough to tackle - and in such a refreshingly honest and imaginative manner.

01.20 h Tek toliko da znate koliko je stai dok ovo kucam. Nećete vjerovati ali ovaj film sam odgledao kao da se radi o vrhunskom remek djelu, a ne o jeftinom petparačkom gay krimiću. Razlog: pa film obuluje nagim muškim thelima, a i sviđa mi se glavni glumac, koji glumi fotografa koji slikava uglavnom muškarce.
Uz to u filmu ima i seksa , pederkog seksa naravno! Ni lezbejke nisu izostavljene, mada se većina pedera gadi lezbijki. Ko da bi im ruka otpala da pipnu malo pičke! Glavna lezbejka je detektivka, koja uz pomoć glavnog glumca pedera traži ubicu njegovog brata. Nasmijao sam se kad sam je vidio kako onako mršava i jadna vadi pištolj i obračunava se sa gnjusnim zločincem.
Nemojte da vas ovo obesrabri, film spada u onu jeftinu low cost klasu, pa mu je sve oprošteno. Bez obzira na sve to film je gledljiv i siguran sam da će te se zabaviti gledajući ga! E da i ne drkajte ga , nego gledajte film!

"2 Minutes Later" is a crime-fighting/comedy film with some flesh and sex (not excessive, but certainly more than necessary). It tried to equal the sex & violence quotient seen in similar 'straight' films. This film's director, who was present the night I attended, got on stage before the film screened, and said that his film was meant just as fun entertainment; nothing more, nothing less. -- and to the person who accompanied me to this screening, that's what it was. To me it was just a gay reworking of many straight suspense films, with a major plot element (spoiler) borrowed from "Blow-Up." It had a fair amount of tepid comedy added into the mix, justifying the director's statement that it could be called 'light entertainment.'

Probably to the chagrin of the filmmaker present (and to the management of the fabulous Tampa Theatre, a splendidly renovated 'atmostpheric,' built in 1926) the film was shown through the wrong lens. What I mean is, it appears to have been a film that may have been produced with an aspect ratio of 1:1.85, but it was shown thru' a 1:1.33 lens. Everyone was just a bit too thin, too tall, --and all the cars were a foot, or so, more compact. I tried to ignore this technical problem (which wasn't easy) and see the film the way it's producer intended me to. It had it's fun moments, some suspense, and I almost enjoyed it, until "The End" credit came on-screen with a question mark (?) added after a few seconds, a la "The Blob."

The leading lady, who was also present in the theater that night --and accompanied the filmmaker on stage before the curtain went up, was the best actor in this film. As improbable as her character was, her lines were better than those of the leading man, --who was likely chosen for his shy boy-next-door 'look' rather than for any acting ability. I'm not knocking him, nor the filmmaker, nor anyone else associated with this production. It was obvious that the budget wasn't big, but neither was the thought put into this. Better films have been made on smaller budgets.

And it seemed to me that it borrowed an awful lot of bits and pieces from many other films, --besides the obvious big 'bit' borrowed from "Blow-Up."

Overall, a mediocre effort. I rated it 5.

Danas sam pogledao ovaj film koji me je na neki način potresao. U moru melodramatičnih filmova ovo je za mene nešto sasvim drugačije.
Film sa mnogo duše i potresnim krajem.

Maek, je mladić, ubica koji dobije zadatak od Mafije da otme i ubije mladog Ihta. Međutim u Meak pred šefovima odbije da to uradi i u pucnjavi koja zbog toga nastane biva ranjen. Zajedno sa Ihtom onako ranjen bježi. Onako ranjenog Iht ga odvede kući i njeguje ga kako bi mu se zaliječila rana.
Pri svemu tome zaljubljuju se jedan u drugog. Meak navikao na ubistva i nasilje, nemože sebi dopustiti ni da pokaže osijećaje ni da se zaljubi, posebno ne u muškarca. Nakon jedne noći u kojoj su sebi dopustili da strast nadvlada razum, zbunjeni Meak otjera Ihta od sebe. Iht se stalno vraća, moleći meaka da ga razumije, da ga voli i da mu nedostaje.
Meak zna da ih mafija neće ostaviti na miru. Osim toga kući ima majku i brata koji boluju od AIDS-a.

Film je prožet prelijepom muzikom koja ublažava surovost siromaštva u podnožju velelepnih zgrada Bangkoka.
Sjajna gluma, odličan scenario i dobra muzika učiniće da vas ovaj film prilijepi za ekran.

Nakon što je film završio ostao sam mislima o tome kako ne možemo sami odrediti trenutak ni osobu koja će nam osvojiti srce.

Bangkok Love Story (Thai: Puen, literally "friend") is a 2007 Thai film written and directed by Poj Arnon. A gay romantic crime action drama, it is the story of a man who falls in love with a gunman who is assigned to kill him.

A loner gunman named Mhek is assigned to kidnap a police informant named It, but Mhek has a change of heart when he is ordered to kill It. In a gunbattle with his employers, Mhek is wounded, but It grabs Mhek's gun and returns fire. The two men then escape on Mhek's motorcycle. At Mhek's rooftop hide-out, It tends to Mhek's wound and finds himself attracted to Mhek. While giving Mhek a bath one day, It initiates sexual intercourse with the hitman. Conflicted, Mhek demands that It leave him alone. It returns home to his fiancee, Sai, but is no longer interested in continuing a relationship with her. It spends his days pining over Mhek, and tracks down Mhek's brother, Mhok, and their mother. Mhok is HIV positive, as the result of sexual abuse by his and Mhek's stepfather, and their mother is dying of AIDS.

Mhek's dream is to take his mother and brother away from Bangkok to the mountains of Mae Hong Son Province. But after Mhek's mother witnesses Mhek and It kissing each other, she commits suicide by hanging herself. It's fiancee, Sai, also witnesses the kissing by Mhek and It, and terminates their marriage plans. Meanwhile, Mhek's former employers are gunning for him. It decides to take matters into his own hands, and goes to Mhek's bosses' hide-out and shoots them both. Mhek, meanwhile, is planning to meet his brother at the railway station to leave Bangkok for good. But before he can board the train, he is apprehended by the police and sent to prison.

Years pass by. Mhok dies of AIDS at a hospice in northern Thailand. It visits Mhek in prison and reveals that he was left blind in the final gunbattle with Mhek's bosses. Eventually, Mhek is released from prison, and It meets him. But before the two men can leave to start their life together, Mhek is gunned down by an assassin. It eventually gets his sight back, and the first thing he does is to look at his mobile phone, which has a picture of Mhek on it that he took many years before.
