Još jedan film za nedeljno poslije podne u gay porodičnom krugu. Zach je uspješan doktor koji je već osam godina u vezi sa Clare, takođe uspješnom ženom. Planiraju da kupe kuću, stupe u brak, imaju djecu i budu sretni do kraja života. Dosadnooooo! Ali i Zach osjeća da je to dosadno, mada nije siguran i zašto ima takav osjećaj. Onda upoznaje Berta, starijeg momka, pisca, novelistu koji je gay.
Svaki "str8" kad tad naleti na nekog pedera i to je neminovnost. Ono što razlikuje pedera od str8 čovjeka je iskrenost. Pederi su naučili da lažu, petljaju, uskaču u tuđe krevete koliko god mogu ili u svoj krevet mjenjaju likove češće nego čaršave.  Nemojte se ljutiti ako ste se prepoznali u ovome, pomirite se sa sudbinom da ste takvi.
Zach naravno ove osnovne pederske činjenice ne zna, pa očekuje da su emocije , iskrenost i uzajamna podrška nešto što treba da krasi svaki ljudski odnos.
A peder ko peder, uvjek nađe neko obrazloženje da odgurne nekoga ko insistira na tome. Najbolji razlog je - strah da ne bude opet povrijeđen!

U zadnjih pola godine sam opet sebi dopustio da se upetljam u vezu sa oženjenim čovjekom. Ista priča on iskren toliko da ne umije da sakrije ama baš ništa. Insistira na ljubavno-prijateljskom odnosu koji bi mu omogućio da zadrži dosadašnji život , ali i mene. A ja? Da li je to ono što meni treba? Znam da nije, ali kako da ga ostavim kad sam mu već rekao da ga volim?! Ma sranje, znam da i on mene voli, ali već znam kraj naše priče, a po dosadašnjnem iskustvu nikad nije happy-end!

Film sam titlovao i barem mi se zahvalite na tome jer sam se dobrano namučio pošto je film na youtube isječen na 8 djelova.

A successful young L.A. doctor and his equally successful television-producer wife find their happily-ever-after life torn assunder when he suddenly confronts his long-repressed attraction for other men. Zach and Claire live a comfortable life secure in their love for one another when Bart, a swinging L.A. novelist, walks into Zach's office and awakens unfamiliar feelings in him. In a move which leaves him wracked with guilt, Zach cancels dinner with his wife in order to go out with Bart. He is inexplicably drawn to this man who seems intent on keeping him at arms distance. Why can't Bart allow their relationship to grow? he wonders.

Exasperated, he asks Bart, "Do you snore? Does anybody ever get a chance to find out?" As Zach's absences become more and more frequent, Claire's concern manifests itself in the suspicion that he is having an affair with another woman. Jilted by Bart and feeling alone for the first time in his married life, Zach resolves to tell Claire the truth about himself. Predictably, Claire is shocked that she could have known so little about the man she has loved for so many years and accuses him of deceiving her from the very start. Cijelu sedmicu se lijecim od ove upale grla i taman kada mogu izaći malo iz kuće, napolje počne kiša. Ništa od jutarnje kafe pored mora!
Rainer Werner Fassbinder (1945. - 1982.) je njemački filmski režiser, scenarist i glumac, začetnik njemačkog novog vala, te jedan od najplodnijih režisera uopšte.
Čitajući njegov životopis čovjek nemože, a da se ne zapita da li mu vrijeme protiče ispunjeno ili ne.
Fassbinder je živio izuzetno brzo. Njegov život je proticao u stvaralaštvu, seksu, ljubavi i ponekad hedonizmu. Očito nije imao vremena za gubljenje. Deklarirani biseksualac, kokainski ovisnik i autodestruktivac koji se uvijek kretao između umjetnosti i stvarnosti, nije živio dovoljno dugo da ostvari sve svoje projekte. 1982. nađen je mrtav u hotelskoj sobi u Münchenu nakon što se predozirao.
Njemci ga nisu voljeli jer im je otkrivao istinu o njima samima. Razobličujući njihove skrivene fantazije, strahove, želje i pretvarajući ih u najobičnije ljude. Mit o krutoj i discplinovanoj njemačkoj naciji je razbijen.
Jednom sam se intezivno družio sa jednim njemcem koji je ljetovao u Rovinju. Bio sam šokiran sa pravilima po kojima je taj lik živio. Ovo mora ovako, a ovo onako. Kao neki robot kojemu je ugrađen neki program. Ushićenje, emocije i ono što čovijeka čini i lijepim i ranjivim za njega su bile osobina koje se moraju vješto zamaskirati ili potisnuti.
Fassbinderova dijela razgolitila su Njemačka Potemkinova sela.
Querelle je poslednji film ovog neumornog stvaraoca u kojem je okupio tada poznate glumce Brad Davisa, Franca Nera i Jeanne Moreau.
Film sa naglašenim homoseksualnim kontekstom je posvećen jednom Fassbinderovom ljubavniku Marokancu.
Quereele je mornar ( objekat mnogih seksualnih fantazija), diler drogom, ali i ubica. kada njegov brod uplovi u Brest ( Francuska) odlazi je jedan bordel ukojem se susreće sa svojim bratom koji je ljubavnik vlasnikove žene Lysiane. Vlasnik bordela je crnac Nano, biseksualac koji ima pravilo da ako neko oće da mu jebe ženu mora sa njim da baca kocku. Ako izgubi Nano će ga jebati i kao takav može imati Lysiane. Nano bi rekao: Na taj načim mogu reći da moja žena spava sa šupcima.
Querelle odlazi kod Nanoa i baca kocku.
Scena u kojoj Nano jebe Querella je nabijena energijom koju prepoznaju većina homoseksualaca. Izvanredan prikaz pederske potajne želje da bude kurva i pri tome izbjegne krivicu i moralnu osudu, prebacujući sve na onoga čiji je seksualni objekat postao.
Upravo takvog lika igra zgodni Brad Davis.

The plot centres on the handsome sailor Georges Querelle (Brad Davis), who is also a thief and serial killer. When his ship, the Vengeur, arrives in Brest, he visits the Feria, a bar and brothel for sailors run by the madam Lysiane (Jeanne Moreau), whose lover Robert is Querelle's brother. Querelle has a passionate love/hate relationship with his brother; when they meet at La Feria, they embrace, but also punch one another slowly and repeatedly in the belly. Lysiane's husband Nono tends bar and manages La Feria's underhanded affairs with the assistance of his friend, the corrupt police captain Mario.

Querelle makes a deal to sell opium to Nono, and murders his accomplice Vic. After delivering the drugs, Querelle announces that he wants to sleep with Lysiane. He knows that this means he will have to throw dice with Nono, who, as Lysiane's husband, has the privilege of playing a game of chance with all of her prospective lovers. If Nono loses, the suitor is allowed to proceed with his affair. If the suitor loses, however, he must submit to anal sex with Nono first. "That way, I can say my wife only sleeps with assholes," Nono says. Querelle deliberately loses the game, allowing himself to be sodomized by Nono. When Nono gloats about Querelle's "loss" to Robert, who won his dice game, the brothers end up in a violent fight. Later, Querelle becomes Lysiane's lover, and also has sex with Mario.

Luckily for Querelle, a construction worker called Gil murders his coworker Theo, who had been harassing and sexually assaulting him. Gil is also considered to be the murderer of Vic. Gil hides from the police in an abandoned prison, and Roger, who is in love with Gil, establishes contact between Querelle and Gil in the hopes that Querelle can help Gil flee.

Querelle falls in love with Gil, who closely resembles his brother (they are played by the same actor). Gil returns his affections, but Querelle betrays Gil by tipping off the police. Querelle had cleverly arranged it so that his murder of Vic is also blamed on Gil.

In parallel there is a plot line concerning Querelle's superior, Lieutenant Seblon (Franco Nero), who is in love with Querelle, and constantly tries to prove his manliness to him. Seblon is aware that Querelle murdered Vic, but chooses to protect him. Near the end of the film, Seblon reveals his love and concern to a drunken Querelle, and they kiss and embrace before returning to Le Vengeur.
